This forum isn't about you. Get over yourself.
Because no way am I looking at the name of some bet welching faggot every time I go to click on the NFL thread.
Anyway here's hoping to a good season of sportsball with lots of homedowns and fieldbaskets.
This is the one true 2015-2016 season NFL thread.
That's a lot of cock.
Sucks for Jordy....
Farewell my 3rd round pick. Guess on some bright note it weakens the Pack...
*Starts ranting incoherently about preseason schedule*
someone reported this thread. I'm here to check it out.
One day I hope to be as attractive and well spoken as Tuco!
Well a copy of this thread was made that could stand to be either deleted or shawed.
You're right, it was the other one. Carry on.
One day I hope to be as attractive and well spoken as Tuco!
Watching broncos and Texans. Anyone else notice it seems like Manning lost some weight?
While it's just preseason, Tennessee looked pretty sharp in the first half
They sure kicked the hell out of the Rams in the first half.
New England looked terrible vs New Orleans.
Who cares how good Tennessee looked? They were playing the Rams.
Well todays game sucks. I'm a Cowboys 4 Life fan but Jarryd Hayne is from my lifelong (and hometown) League team so I have to be happy with his performance, just annoying that I'll have to tacitly support the 49'ers this season as well as the 'Boys.
That said, it's great to see him showing how good an athlete he is and the open-field skills he has. It's annoying we let him out of the last year of his contract but if he makes his dream then can't be too unhappy.
No they don't.
Anyone remember when the 49'ers almost instantly went from Superbowl favorites to a complete dogshit fuckfest of a team after they turned their backs on this dreamboat?

I can never get into preseason. I try every few years. The only entertainment comes from watching college noobs fuck up and laughing when superstars on other teams get hurt, and I don't even get that satisfaction this year because I know my team is going to be dogshit so I'd rather see everyone stay healthy so that the games are better.
That said, I can watch just about anyone play once the season starts. Oakland vs Detroit in week 12? Plenty to laugh at.
Most years I don't give a shit, but with a QB being picked at #1 overall kind of want to see the carnage
Is this the thread where I can read about Tebow winning the Super Bowl?
I'll be happily surprised if Hayne isn't a fumble-o-matic.
Having him return punts made my butthole clench. Bad memories, there.
JJ Watt spotted talking to The Rock's agent.
AJ McCarron makes his debut tonight. I know you're all excited. Mostly because they'll probably show his wife too.
Have a fall guy = Lessons from the Baltimore Ravens ;p
Bucs committing penalties every play.
Cinci's O-line have some starters sitting or is Tampa's D-line just really good? Preseason or not it can't be good when you're getting creamed on the line.
So which team wants Mike Glennon as their QB? Jets? Texans? Bills? He's gotta be better than some of their options right now
I'm not sure what was going on there. Cincy has had one of the best O-lines the past few years. Meh. Preseason.
pre season not playoffs, Dalton. Get it straight.
That first punt catch wasn't really that unusual for kick-catching of a fullback in league, they'll often be running back or across the field to catch the ball as it goes past them. It won't always be caught but I'd put him at 90% to take it every time but the fact that he'll always back himself to take the punt and return it might bite them in the ass now and then given the effect of missing the ball will usually be different in league to nfl....it will take a bit to train it out of him and they may not be able to but I don't think that's a bad thing
The Jarryd Hayne Show continued. A week after the Australian rugby star accounted for 120 total yards in Houston, Hayne returned three punts for 84 yards, with each return eliciting more oohs and ahhs. His first punt return, though, was especially epic in that he made like Willie Mays with an over-the-shoulder catch before bringing it back 27 yards. He also had eight carries for 54 yards while flashing his stiff-arm to Cowboys safety Jeff Heath in the open field on a 23-yard run to the left. So, in two preseason games, the Aussie has 258 total yards, averaging 9.0 yards per carry, 21.6 yards per punt return and 33.0 yards per kickoff return.
Looks like he's a hell of an athlete.
I just watched the 49ers/Cowboys game and Hayne was electric in the open field. That over the shoulder catch was ridiculous. I don't see how he doesn't make the team and I guess I won't be fast-forwarding the punt returns this year.
Bowman looked fierce in the few plays he was in this week. If he comes back as his old self the defense is going to be pretty solid I think. The line has looked good and the safeties are both solid. Only question will be the corners and if somebody can pressure the QB in Aldon Smith's spot. The Offense I'm less confident in but Carlos Hyde has looked great carrying the ball in preseason so I think it will mostly come down to whether Kaepernick gets better or worse this year.
And all three returns last game were longer than any return in the 2014 season for 49'ers...but preseason and all
I don't know if I've ever seen somebody field a punt with his back to the field before, let alone turn around and gain 25 yards afterwards.
This is all sort of fubar if true...
NFL Head Coach on Jay Gruden Leaving RG3 in Game: | Bleacher Report
Meh seems like a non-story. RG3 needs work and game reps. Gruden was giving him work and game reps. He needs to know how to play after getting hit. If RG3 is such a glassy nancy that he requires to get taken out of the game after getting hit what will Gruden do in a real game? It isn't like RG3's tendons and skeleton will just fuse into steel in the next 2 preseason games.
Merrith, I cannot wait for this Redskins season.
Man, those gifs give me hope that the 49ers will at least have a few highlight reel plays on their way to the basement of the league.
They're special teams gifs from preseason. Special teams is a complete clusterfuck in pre season because it is full of the 60-90th position players.
Going to clean up the dog problem in Shittsburgh!
If you want to blame a Coach for RGKnee's current state I think you need to take a look at Shanahan long before you look at Gruden. Not that Gruden is doing him any favors either.
I suspect he was asking about the discussion still being split between this thread and the offseason thread and not about any thread that never existed. Since there isn't an actual preseason thread (or any need for one), I imagine NFL talk will remain split between the two threads until the season starts.
6 and 10 qualifies for the basement in my opinion. Guess we will have to see how it plays out.
i'm still worried about the pat's Defense- last year showed that with a Good backfield vs the pass, they were an elite team, this year- they completely redid it all -basically- my worry is...a reversion to the previous 5 years pass defense, which was basically one of the worst in the league....especially on 3rd down.
offense imo will be fine, but Defense wins Championships, not Offense.
I think it's a little RG3, and a lot the organization. Looking back at that draft and seeing how Wilson and Tannehill are trending compared to RG3, in terms of expectations as well as transitioning to the NFL, I feel really bad for the next QB Snyder wants to draft.
His best chance is landing with some team who has an entrenched starter and getting a few season of backup money. but that seems like a long shot at this point.
Cowboys believe Scandrick tore his ACL. Fuck this gay world.
