everyone but Aaron Rodgers is available on my team that means I'm willing to trade one or two of these guys:

Matt Ryan (#7 QB last year), Leveon Bell (#2 RB last year), Antonio Brown (#1 WR... by 30 points), Alfred Morris (#12 RB last year), or Johnny Manziel (#1 in jersey sales last pre season)

You aren't going to get players like this in the draft!

House of Brad has went through a rebranding. Bradys Deflators are looking to make it back to the championship this year with a chance to win. I'm looking for an upgrade over Eli so everyone is available at the right price, with the possible exception of Murray.

Well I guess two starting QB's and the #7 WR last season aren't bad keepers. But it's still Dalton/Foles/Cobb.

    /wrist

Hey ham can I have Matt Ryan back now? It's been like 4 years.

As I said in the other thread, I'm open to gutting my entire team (ham Top, Gilg Bottom). Highlights include a suspended Tom Brady, Megatron, VJax, Malcom Floyd, and Martellus Bennett.

Team New Hope looking to get a QB, I really only have a top tier RB and WR, and I'm only looking for a mid level QB, thinking the Tannehill to Bridgewater area.

None of my players are worth a shit beyond Lynch and he's probably off the table. I really need to focus on getting keeper-worthy players. My next best player after Lynch is honestly probably Michael Floyd. It's really bad. I'm willing to sacrifice depth for a year.

I'd be willing to move any of my big guys for a pick(D. Thomas, Brees, Stafford).

When are we getting picks btw? I think some people like myself may be able to hold off on trading if we get the right pick or make a trade due to the pick slot.

I can drop him if you want, I was actually just testing to see if it'd work. Not keeping Bradford anyway.

Lottery sucks. I finished 10th last year so I draft almost last this year? I finished 10th of 16 and my draft slot is 13th this year? What sort of BS is that? Seriously.

As you can see from the results though, it's just bad luck. Every team drafting in the top 5 is a terrible team from last year. If we go straight NFL style, then the tanking would start by mid season and ruin the competitive balance. There's no perfect system This one is at least a little fun

Officially looking for a youngish QB or will consider trading for a top slot. Team is New Hope, pick #10.

No perfect system? Why not use the one the NFL uses instead of random crap like this? Season hasn't even started yet and I'm already getting fucked over. lol :P

I just explained why we don't use that. Because as soon as someone loses AP for the season, they may start playing for a draft pick, just for an example. People were already doing 76ers levels of tanking at the end of this one I felt like

I'm the one that lost AP and didn't play for a draft pick, your example isn't valid. lol

I want to say if you do two, you're basically forfeiting one of your top 3 picks. Not sure if there's a way around that.

Is there a way to view the draft history from last year? I'm trying to gauge the importance of picks in various rounds before I commit to trading away my good picks for worthwhile keepers.

Ham - did you just take back your trade proposal?

The first major trade of the season occurs.

Sorry everyone for giving ham so many early picks. My team is going through an Astros/Cubs period right now.

Look , I know everyone's itching to trade and shit . But I feel both of these trades are over the top . I've always been hard on trades , cause I worry about how the power shifts . Ham's trade , 1 and 3 for Ryan .... thats alot . But goddam , LAMAR MILLER ? Maybe Miller for a 2nd round pick ... You folks had better be sure you know what your doing . Giving up your early picks is never a wise thing .

I'm fully aware this is a bad move for my team this year, but the team I inherited two years ago wasn't very good and it's not any better now. Every year I don't have three players that are keeper-worthy and that can set you back so much. If you don't draft whatever sleeper pick or hot shot rookie you're left in the same situation the next year. At least now I have a RB (already have Lynch) and a QB that will likely be keeper-worthy for the next few years. It's also what this league is like by being able to start two QBs. The position is just too good. QBs are worth a shit ton in this league. We have 20 fucking teams in this league. Which means there are eight teams that can't even start two starting QBs.

For fuck's sake, the first actual pick last year was Alex Smith. I regret nothing with this trade.

16 teams and you didnt' score a top tier RB or QB. It's your team man, but fuck I think you just further injured yourself.

I'm pretty much in the same situation. I'm mostly doing this trade for the future. Miller is a young RB who I should be able to keep for at least 2-3 seasons. My RB's last year were fucking CJ.5K and Doug Martin.

Looking through all the RB's in the league, there's really not that many who are top 10 and young.

Honestly, I can't do much worse than last year.

Ya , Im not telling you not to make moves . But don't give away the future stability of your team . Does it suck not having top tier people ? Yes it does , I know . When I got into this league , it was a last minute thing , My team was already drafted and it was fucking shit . My three best players were Steven Jackson , Jermichael Finley and Antonio Gates . My QB's for the season were Brady Quinn , Marc Bulger , Chad Henne and Chris Redman ...... I know the levels of shit a team can drop to . Im telling you to suck it up and make sound choices . Research , be shrewd and be patient . In the end its your team man , goodluck .

Got a few good young WR's (Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, DeAndre Hopkins) and QB's (Nick Foles and Andy Dalton) on the block, either looking for picks or a package to upgrade.

Guys like Brady, Rodgers, and Luck are not going to be traded by the guys that own them and even if they were the price would be even higher for them.

yeah there's no amount of picks that can land you those players now.

the guy getting fleeced (imo) gave his reasoning on the Miller trade, no shady business, so no reason to veto. It's his team. I would've give you Bell for that

Shot you a trade Tarrant, I think it's much better than the Miller trade prolly about even on the Ryan one.

I accepted, this means I get to keep him on top of my 3 keepers, right? I've never done pre draft trading before.

Means Rivers would now be one of your keepers. So if I had to guess it would be Rivers, AP and Jeffery?

Just a thought though, Tarrant kind of makes me think of an interesting point. If instead of just losing a pick in the draft trying to rebuild, why not let people who trade their 1st overall pick keep 4 people? It would do 2 things, help teams struggling recover, and it would encourage 1st round trading more because it would still help both sides then give some hope to the guy who just traded their 1st draft pick. As it currently stands, if you trade your first pick, odds are unless you absolutely kill it and get lucky in the draft, you're finishing at the bottom of the pack. I hate trying to make it complicated, but only allow the rule to people who didn't make the playoffs. Obviously a thought for the future years 8+.

Since it's become a dynasty esque league at this point I do think we should open a poll this season to raise the max on keepers kept. You still have to keep 3 but could elect to keep 4 or 5 for surrendering a draft pick in that slot.

We don't make changes this close to the draft though. So it's something to think on next year.

Tarrant as is your first three draft slots are reserved for keepers, no matter what. So you want the best three players you can get in that position. So trading a 4th is like surrendering your first round pick. So essentially giving up 4 picks for 3 players instead of 3

I'm putting up a poll this weekend to confirm your team is still inactive. Having inactive teams with active draft pick trading is frustrating

Interesting taking TY and giving 2 picks instead of Sanders for 1.

Edit: I guess it's really only 1 and a swap, so pretty similar.

I'm seriously willing to take some shitty ass picks for players like Hyde and Morris. Two starting RBs on run first teams

I'm giving up my team, the league requires too much time due to its depth and fuck 16 man keeper leagues with 2 QB slots... It was fun the first few years but last year I just didn't feel it.

If we can't get two new owners within the next 1-2 weeks, the league will go down to 14.

If we go to 14 teams , I think thats fine . Gives everyone more to work with , thus giving everyone a better feeling that they can compete . However , we should of done this before trading picks / players . Its too late now , unless everyone agrees to go back to what they had before we started trades . Really changes the landscape of the league .

Yeah, I'll be a little annoyed at trading my pick if it's now a 14 team league. I overpaid a little with 16 teams. With 14 I got raped.

you got raped either way, but let's find two more people to fill those spots and this isn't even a convo. I think people who aren't in the league don't even check it after the first page, we gotta educate the masses!

I guess I'll join, its not a real money league right? Assuming there's a second person and all, if I were you dudes I'd prefer to see it go down to fourteen but I'm game.

There's a link to the league in the first page that details it all. Doesn't appear to be PPR.

It's not PPR. Free agency is auction based instead of waiver order. You must keep three players, so the 4th round is the 1st round during the actual draft.

Think I'll stop offering Randall Cobb in trade offers now unless someone really wants to surprise me. Thank you Jordy Nelson for breaking yourself.
