Nice. Some really good looking movies coming up.
This looks like it'll be a fun popcorn flick.
Looks like an Archer world with the technology anachronisms. Will go see.
excellent usage of tactile turtlenecks, Mr. Uncle
This looks amazing... but I think I already saw the movie in that trailer.
Saw this today. Used to watch the show as a kid. It had just the right amount of camp and style. You won't get any smarter for watching it, but it was worth the price of admission IMO.
I liked it. Tone was a little darker than the trailer made it out to be, but just a little.
Ending felt rushed as well but I'm looking forward to more if they decide to do more.
I saw it a week ago and now literally only remember two things about it:
1) The 'basket lunch' scene was mildly amusing.
2) What is with casting directors not letting people use their natural accents? You've got in Henry Cavill a Brit playing an American, Hammer American/Russian, Vikander Swede/German, Debicki Australian/Italian, Harris Brit/American. No wonder Hugh Grant is the one having fun, he's the only one that doesn't have to act through an accent.
Wish Guy Ritchie would go back to making his old movies.
Seems like it all started with the Madonna marriage. Downhill from there, guess some things you just can't unsee.
Actually maybe I'm being too hard on him. Rocknrolla was dumb but somewhat fun and the 1st Holmes movie was good.
Pussy bitch Draegan sold us out to MMORPG.com
Exodus underway to Rererolled - A Gaming Community
Oh and sorta fuck Tuco too.
In case you missed it, the Sherlock Holmes movies came well after he married Madonna.
I actually enjoyed Rocknrolla still waiting on the sequel. Get on it Guy fuck these other movies.
Did someone just say Rocknrolla was dumb? You might be a bad person for thinking that. That movie was literally Snatch 2.0 and it built up to a sequel that will most likely never happen. Great f'n flick.
I actually enjoyed man from uncle a lot it was quite a bit better than I expected it to be and a very enjoyable summer theater movie.

Is this ok to take a 9 year old to?
Depends on what you've raised him or her on, but it's probably fine. I'd be more worried about them being bored or not understanding shit.
Nice, I was just wondering if this was out the other day. Thanks.
I enjoyed it, would like to see a sequel but I dont think it made enough money sadly
thought it was it was beautiful, but really didn't care about any of the characters. they just seemed wooden.
the music was obnoxious is several places
not counting the madonna stuff, i liked all of his movies even Revolver.
Yeah music was rather intrusive in this.
This was enjoyable, I didn't cringe in parts but neither did I get that immersed in it either. If a sequel came out I would give it the benefit of the doubt though and go to see it.
The tone of the music in the trailers is definitely different from what was in the movie. I found it a bit jarring and it made it a little more depressing.
I enjoyed it. I don't know if I would have noticed the music if I hadn't read it here first or not. I'd watch more of these if they came out.
Never realized how fucking big Armie Hammer is.
Blu ray rips are out, quality is fantastic. I really enjoyed this movie, much more than Mission Impossible 5 and probably Spectre (haven't watched that yet). Cast had great chemistry, villain was pretty cool, and the cinematography was outstanding - most of the movie takes place in Italy so it would be hard to fuck that up. Definitely a ton of little Guy Ritchie touches, but the movie felt like a Sergio Leone spy movie. Too bad the movie did pretty meh in theaters, doubt we'll see any sequels although I'd love to see more.
Kingsman was still better though, but I'd put Uncle pretty close behind.
I think they hit a home run with everything but the music. It seemed like the director had some shots that he just couldn't bear to leave on the cutting room floor, and they had to do something to polish them up and not make them seem so forced (the scene where the villain is leaving the dock on a boat towards the end comes to mind).
