He deserves his own thread right? He was in Thirteenth Warrior!
I mean, obviously a lot more than that, but I think that's actually the first thing I saw him in.
He was also in this one little flick called Lawrence of Arabia.
One of his better known, more recent roles was the old sheikh in Hidalgo.
Did someone actually ask 'who?'....
You know nothing, al-Lawrence Snow.
A war is coming, I've seen it in my dreams. Fires sweeping over the Earth, bodies in the streets, cities turned to dust... retaliation.
Hollywood is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until everything you love is dead.
lol thought you were serious at first.
"After my small role in The 13th Warrior, I said to myself, 'Let us stop this nonsense, these meal tickets that we do because it pays well.' I thought, 'Unless I find a stupendous film that I love and that makes me want to leave home to do, I will stop.' Bad pictures are very humiliating, I was really sick. It is terrifying to have to do the dialogue from bad scripts, to face a director who does not know what he is doing, in a film so bad that it is not even worth exploring."
I believe he was a master at bridge and wrote lots of pieces about strategy and whatever else.
