Rerolled Monster and Rune Tracking (Monster 6* Forecasting)
Special Dungeon Schedule
Monday: Hall of Darkness (Yeti, Inugami, Hellhound)
Tuesday: Hall of Fire
Wednesday: Hall of Water
Thursday: Hall of Wind
Sunday: Hall of Light (Vagabond, Inugami, Bearman)
On top of the hall of elements is the hall of magic. Here you can obtain Essences of Magic in all three tiers as well as all the other elements. This dungeon is open 24/7.
Summon monsters utilizing various resources. Different materials get you higher starred monsters ala Puzzle Dragons. Battles are final fantasy-esque - you control what mob they attack and what abilities they use. There is a paper rock scissors approach to monster weaknesses that you find in most of these style games. My favorite component is the auto-battle feature and that you can increase the fight speed by up to 3x (great for pharming while at work). As you gain crystals and player levels you can build more structures on your island, providing daily bonuses, and other utilities. There are also guilds and you can engage in daily guild wars for points, which you can use to randomly summon creatures, or save up for a guaranteed natural 5* Ifrit.
You will end up playing this all day, so bring power cables.
Monsters can be customized a few different ways;
1.) Leveling - which can be done through dungeons or monster fusions. Most monsters can be evolve to higher level forms once they reach max level. I'm unsure if they require material mobs to do it.
2.) Runes - Mostly dropped in dungeons. You can gather a set to give you set bonus. Each individual rune can be upgraded for crystals (which you get for doing about everything), gaining stats.
3.) Awakening - Gathering rare materials from the daily dungeons allows you to awaken your monster, giving them additional skills, graphics, and stats.
1.) Monster summons opportunities feel frequent
2.) Monsters level during fights in addition to fusions
3.) Doesn't seem like p2win currently
4.) It feels like you can do many dungeons in one sitting
5.) Monster designs are interesting and battles are entertaining.
1.) They notify you pretty frequently about IAP opportunities
2.) higher tier monsters are very rare
3.) Battery hog due to 3D fights
Example of a gameplay;
High level Streamer

Having fun with this myself!
It feels a lot less painful than P&D with more things to do besides gather fusion mats. I'm debating on getting a pack for this from the IAP to early awaken my fairy. Fun fact - go into your monster book under info tab and click the head icon. There is a msg board for each monster with 1-3 helpful tips on the monster and 70 retarded ones. Helps you to decide on the ones to evolve.

Ok, I just basically got through the tutorial and this really does seem much less P2W than most of them. It is really enjoyable as a small distraction.
Ended up buying a pack to awaken the fairy. Didn't get anything particularly good from the mystic scrolls. Almost able to evolve my main team. Added everyone to friends list. Aevry in game
Is there a rerolled guild? I'll toss up my id and add folks when I get the chance later today.
I'm actually enjoying this quite a bit. The leveling curve vs. shit to do ratio is pretty good and has kept me busy for a while. There's probably a wall that I'll hit soon (maybe?) but so far the presentation, features, and variety of stuff has been cool.
Good tips I've learned - save your crystals to buy the 225 or 750 pack in the special shop. Also, proper leveling of runes often outweighs adding levels to monsters. It's important to get appropriate set bonuses for each monster.
Pharming the last boss of the various stages is a good way to get nice runes and a chance at the 3 star mobs. To evolve a 3 star monster to 4 stars you need 3-3 star feeders monsters.
Oh yeah, that was going to be a question. I've got 95 or so crystals after the 1st day today and was just going to use them for another summon.
Also was considering the shop items that increase crystal rate (1 per 8hr, max capacity 3) or the item that increased energy regen. Kind of with the opinion that purchasing them first would give me greater returns over the long run.
My starter Water Pixie is pretty beastly with a set of +6 Energy runes. I know it isn't efficient (and I only just got a tank Golem) but wanted to play around with the Rune power ups. It looked like at level 3/4 it gets a bonus to the extra stat (if it is green), and then at 6 it adds an additional bonus.
Went 20/20 in Arena with two Water Pixie, Garuda, and Fire Hellhound.
Pretty sure three of these games is all I can simultaneously manage. Will become a chore to manage STA between P&D, Brave Frontier, and now this.
My ID: Talador
I need friends to send me points for the daily quests. I also need one more person to add me as a friend so I can use 3 friend monsters a day fighting.
This is the most enjoyable F2P phone game I've ever played. It comes in higher than Rage of Bahamut and I only quit that because our guild wasn't dedicated enough in events. Not a knock on the guild, we just didn't have enough coordination to get the bigger prizes.
Nice game in between P&D. Invited everyone on the list
Rerolled guild is created! I dunno how to add people from friends list, but you should be able to search for it in the guild tab. Shoot me your requests. Guild name is : Rerolled
Didn't try it. Don't judge me!
friended everyone who posted so far. maybe we can actually finish those daily quests.
Ohhh I see, the 6th area is where the wall hits you in the face=P Dungeon is all the little ghost guys. Mostly Red/Blue, random so you can't make a team to burn through one type without eating shit from the others. But even more fun, they heal/dispel each other. Constantly. 5 of them for the last fight of each stage. So you either need enough firepower to burn them down in 1 turn or I guess a lot of AE damage to force them to spread the healing around. If you get lucky with a mostly mono team and they end up the weak color you can make it through.
Yeah, time to run some autogrinding for the next week=P
edit: BTW there's a subreddit for the game, and it seems pretty active compared to most mobile game ones I've tried to use.
Summoners War: Sky Arena
Also also, don't be afraid to grind the earliest levels on hard, it's better exp than mid levels on easy.
Also the 3rd: Go ahead and spend 20 gems on getting another wish, you get 10 back from the challenge for doing it so for 10 you have a chance at some useful stuff. I got 5000 cash so it sucked dicks for me, but in general it should be worth it one time=P
Started this up, IGN is Thengel. I'll send a request to join the guild. I love that you actually get exp from fighting.
Added you to guild. Currently I think the only benefit is chat and making it easier to borrow monsters, but they just added it recently so I expect there to be more perks in the future. Awakening monsters take a ton of farming at low levels. I probably spend 2-3 days to get the mats to awaken one of my fire guys, but it's definitely worth it.
You've hit the jackpot if you can get a fire inugami. This thing is a beast when awakened. It's main spam skill has a 30% chance to attack again, on each attack. Most I've seen is 7 in a row so far, and you get another turn if you kill the monster. I'd toss 4 fatal runes and 2 blade runes on him, focusing on +% atk if possible. Now I just need to level a strong fire leader that boosts atk power.
-Grimm: The ghosts are definitely a wall I hit, but was able to power through them by focus firing the ones that heal. It's pretty touch and go, but with a good burst team you should be able to pass the inital pain and suffering.
Here's a video for him. I'd put it on mute though since someone can't figure out how to record without ching-chong-potato.
Pretty nice chart and Reddit. Will help out on the Rune stuff and theorycraft for sure.
One thing that has been ticking me off is whatever type of 'aggro' list they use. No way it is random each round, they seem to just pick someone at the start and rape the shit out of them. First I thought it was purely level based, as in they attack lowest level, but that doesn't seem to be the case either.
I did my 2nd wish and got 15 Crystals, then the 10 for the challenge
I've been chain running the last level of 1st mission on Hard trying to get a 3* to evolve a couple of my current ones (pixie, golem) but am having a hell of a time. Got some good runes though. Also ran the Magic dungeon quite a bit last night for the Awaken stuff, that looks like it'll take forever.
Their attacks seem to be based off of weaknesses and HP/level. They definitely go after the monsters that are weak to their attacks.
Actually I think it's both. Reading some of the reddit comments they mention certain dungeons pick one and attack and these dungeons are where group heals(Wind Yeti) are weaker since they won't keep up for a single target. And I guess other dungeons don't do that and the group heals are awesome.
For awakening they all take a bunch of low level mats, but a couple (MID) mats. I assume those are from the harder difficulty Cairos dungeons?
edit: Just got the fuse building where you can make the small elements in to mids. Neat.
So for the new event thing you just spam clear Cairos dungeons(except the secret one). Get rewards for numbers of clears.
20 Clears : 100 energy
40 Clears : Mystic scroll
70 Clears : 100000 Mana
100 Clears : 150 Crystal
Apparently the secret bonus thing at the end is
After 100 Clears:
Clear Giant's Keep 20 times for:
1 Mystikal Scroll + 10,000 Mana Stones.
If nothing else I'll be sure to do the 40 clears.
I like how energy drops from dungeons and they like to give you bonuses to go over your max.
First 3 star unlock from an unknown scroll was a Water Reaper. It is apparently the worst kind of reaper.
I have one Mystikal Scroll that I am scared to use because I want it to be a 4 or 5 star, which I'm pretty sure is not going to happen.
I've dropped some cash on this and opened around 30 mystic scrolls (got a promotion and wanted to make bad financial decisions). I got 2-3 4 stars, a few awakened 3's, and the rest normals. If you fuse the same monster you get skill ups 100% of the time which makes it less painful. It's about 5% if that drop rate on the level 5's. - so I'd blow them like you're trying to get money for a drug habit.
Is this the warm glow that AA members feel???
If you feed a fairy class (any element) to another fairy you will get a skill up for a random skill. It does not awaken them unfortunately - so get on your pharming shoes.
If I miss anyone on the guild invite, please let me know. I'm getting 50 join requests a day and can't always tell our folks unless they're a forum celebrity.
Just started playing this. Pretty fun!
I couldn't help myself and used the first 75 crystals I got for a summon, and pulled a 4 star succubus. She doesn't have a leader skill but she's really the best monster I got. Would it be better to put her in my lead when I'm not playing so others can use her, or better to have a leader skill?
Just started pretty fun so far.
If anyone wants to add Ohmgee i need friends
Shared my bomb ass inugami with y'all
I have no idea what the fuck to do=P Gonna finish up my 100 dungeons(at 86 after farming Awakening mats for Fairy) for the 150 crystals, then probably spamfarm the 1st stage of Giants if that works. After that I have a fuckton of 2-3* stuff that all needs attention. And I got the basis of a passable special dungeon farming team with a few AE attackers now.
I always have this problem in mobile games, can't settle on one thing to focus on.
Focus on the clitoris. I hear it will get you better than a foot job. I'm 30 shy of the 100 cairns runs and I just realized its available till the 25th . perhaps the dungeon at the end is good though.
I need to do some serious rune hunting for my guys.
TalooFoH already accepted to guild thanks. Using a beastly damn wind thing as my rep. Crits for 2k at lvl 10.
Barely started, just sent out requests.
So are silver-star summons pretty much all just food for other summons, since they can't be awakened?
I've been using:
for most things. My other gold star summons:
Fire Low Elemental
Not sure if any of those are keepers, other than the water imp. Don't really have a clue what I'm doing yet, so I switched over to grinding out 100 easy wins in Hall of Magic.
No idea wtf I'm doing lol. I've reached the 4th dungeon and cannot pass it. Cairos dungeons just seem like a huuuuuge grind to get awaken stuff, yes? I've just been running lower level dungeons hoping for good drops or stuff to feed my monsters, but all I get are runes. Tons of runes. Don't really feel I'm making any progress.
I think all silver summons are food, yes. The exception seems to be the Angelmon which is food but needs to be leveled up to provide max xp (think snow globe from p&d) and can be awakened to provide the bonus XP to same type.
I haven't kept any of my other gold summons, like the Imps or Vikings. Maybe that isn't a bad idea, who knows at this point.
Right now I'm running 2x Water Fairy max level, Fire Hellhound, Light Garuda, Wind Golem. And I just pulled a Elucia (awoken Water Fairy). So as soon as I awaken my one I could just have 2x Elucia. Everything else is waiting for 4* evo but can't get the multiple 3* guys to do 'em.
Social points aren't good for anything other than social summons, right?
And speaking of SPs, be sure you go into your friend list each day and tap the gift button on each of them.
Social points currently are only used to summon.
Tip: if you're looking to farm runes, run the giants lair in Caicos. The second giant is dropping legendary quality runes for me with 5-6 mods. It's much better than hard mode bosses in the campaign at this time, although exp is less.
I've been reading the guides at this site today, info seems pretty solid: Summoners War : Quick Guide | Kongbakpao
Mostly been looking at his 2* rankings, since it seems like that's what most people end up having to work with.
If you get a 2 star imp, save it. Those things are beasts fully upgraded.
The 2 star silver stuff is also useful for evolving your gold 2 star stuff since you need 2 of them to do it.
Always need the same number of monsters as stars I believe. 2 star monster takes 2 2 stars to evo to 3 stars. 3 star takes 3 3 stars to evo to 4 etc. I'm looking for a 3rd 3 star I'm willing to feed my fairy currently.
Awakening stuff is a grind, but it's not unbearable. I did enough Water/Magic to awaken my fairy yesterday by just auto-running the 2nd stages of those dungeons. I imagine once you get more powerful you can do the same on higher difficulties for more mats per run.
edit: Autorunning 3rd stage of Halls of Magic now to finish off my 100 runs(and because magic essences will always be useful) and the boss just dropped a Mystikal Scroll. Cool beans, didn't realize that was an option. Got a fire Living Armor. All 3 of his abilities are based off defense. Once I can get guard runes as drops he's going to be a killer arena defender.
Pulled my first 5* from the mystic scroll. Blue occult girl. Once I get her runed out I'll share her.
If you're going to be auto running things, make sure to turn off boss animations and it works much quicker.
Make sure to also get around 1100-1200 arena rating this sunday night. In the morning it resets for a free 50-75 crystals. One guy decided he wanted to lose to my defenses about 8 times while I was at work, so I got to revenge kill him all night. So satisfying!
So I ran the giant dungeon 21 times and when I went to collect my reward it shows me as only have completed it 1 time! Grrrr. I cannot find a way to contact the company to tell them about it. Any ideas?
The counter is bugged, they're asking everyone with the issue to email them at [email protected] with hive ID and device model name. Most likely they'll send people a gift as a sorry. The event goes to the 25th st least, so really you're only delayed a mystic scroll.
Whenever you can afford it expand the Magic Shop 3 times. Will cost like 20,000mana and 10 gems, but you get the gems back from an achievement and the extra slots increase your odds of having something worthwhile show up(skill up monster, mystical scroll, later on a 5or 6* rune).
Do natural 5* monsters have much better stats than their upgraded brethren? I am deciding if it is worth the time to level and awaken some of the decent 2* ones but I want to know if that is a good strategy or just an ok holdover.
I think the natural 4/5 tend to be more powerful skill wise. For example - a level 4 slyph I pulled has 2 AE attacks, his main attack has a 30% chance to hit multiple times, and his leader skill increases attack speed.
Many 2-3 star mobs are still used in end game and arena. Imps, war bears, magical archers, Etc are all very viable at max level. I'm using a blue hellhound on my team and it far out damages everything for single target - and that puppy is a pretty common pull / drop
Man, the final campaign boss really pushes my shit in. He just melts my guys even with 10k hp
Anyone have thoughts on what would be best to work on in my current box?
Still basically spinning my wheels on easy Cairos dungeons, but I'm at 70/100 now and will need to go back to doing normal content soon.

Blue starter fairy, blue hellhound leveled up, red golem to take hits, and the awakened serpent should be ok. The martial cats aren't awful with enough levels and the right runes. Screening of my hound below. Upgrading runes on your creatures is probably the easiest way to increase power. I'd run water and magic cairos a few times to awaken the Angelmon and use it to boost the hound once you evolve to 3 stars. Pharming the boss level of the campaign is also a great way to get nice monsters and runes. The first boss drops blue inugami, which is still pretty good into the mid game. I'd say I've gotten 1 out of 20 runs though. image.jpg
So I used a mystic scroll and got a Mystic witch......which I already had from a unknown scroll, total waste. Keep pulling some decent 3 stars from unknowns at least.
Right now using Fairy as my leader still with Vagabond (3 gold), Garuda (3 gold), Allen (3 purple), and Ralph (3 purple)
Not sure if the following are worth keeping:
Mystic Witch (3 gold) x2
High Elemental (3 gold)
Inferno (3 gold)
whole bunch of gold 2 star units.
In game name: BoBDolen
or screenshot your monster box like Vorph. Makes it easier to judge you.
Periodically check the secret dungeons. If anyone unlocks one, do them a favor and run it at least once. Most monsters only require 20 pieces before you can summon them, and the person that found the dungeon gets 1 piece per person that entered. It's also a decent place to get some mana for low cost.
On a lighter note - secret dungeon is a great nickname for my girlfriend...

Thanks for mentioning that you can turn off boss animations so much nicer when I just auto running
Yeah I think it is based on points. About the time I hit 1200 or so my list became level 20+ people with all 5* awoken stuff. Randomly there will be a lower level guy mixed in. Think it is just because it was easy to get points early which boosted our pool and makes it too hard now.
From what I've read they're still tweaking the matchmaking system. The localized game is pretty new so lets hope they get un-tarded.
You could level them for use when evolving your better guys. Getting them to 3/4 stars should be obtainable although slow .
Didn't see it posted. after you clear the 100 runs event you get another quest to run giants 20 times for another scroll and 10k mana. Pretty easy I just auto ran 2nd stage of golems/essense guys while i watched netflix.
As for the arena, the matchmaking is shitfucked. When they announced they were working on it there were a bunch of replies with the same situation as Oneofone, where you either get people way above you or below you but with some crazy IAP squad. And the occasional dude with like 1 monster on his team=P
I guess the first major goal of this game is to get string enough to run the first stage of Faimon(normal) reliably. That seems to be the suggestion I keep seeing for grinding. I'm still bit off from there and it makes me feel slow. Slogging through awakening stuff is painful. I did just get my fire hellhound awoken and his buff is very noticeable.
edit: Just cakewalked my way through the dungeon before Fairmon. Really easy. Fairmon 1 on the other hand pushes my shit in. SOOOOO much damage on the boss wave. I need way stronger blues or something. Ugh. That's my weakest color(aside from light/dark).
Here's a spreadsheet of stats for all the monsters.
Protip: While in auto-battle you can tap an enemy to have your squad focus it down. You know you tapped because a circle appears under that enemy.
In that vein, boss fights are over as soon as the boss dies. This is only for actual bosses and mini-bosses. So the giant guys at the end if the last stage of a dungeon, the bosses of any Cairos dungeon. Also the 3rd floor mini-bosses in some of the Cairos dungeons(Dragons, Giants). So sometimes it's better to ignore adds/towers and focus fire the boss down.
I joined as M4dmonk
sent out a bunch of friend requests/guild request. I am WhoKnewTheGuru.
I sent a request to join the guild. IGN is Plumpy. Been playing this for a week or so, pretty decent game
asked to join guild. name is shoboat
Added everyone. Make sure to friend the members of the guild!
What are you using and how is the xp per clear? I need to get back to the story rather than just farming these essences.
Awakened 4* red Hellhound
3* red Living Armor
3* blue Warbear
Hellhound buff gets through the first 2 waves pretty easily. As long as I don't kill the 2nd wave too fast the Fairy's sleep will be back to start 3rd wave. Sleep boss dog, buff(I need to speed rune Hellhound to get him up 1st), burn down a dog while the bad guys kill the shit out of Living Armor usually. Hellhound sometimes. Whatevs. As long as I get a dog dead before boss wakes up then get him dead before both my reds are dead it's a win. Warbear and Fairy take half damage cuz colors.
Now I just need the dungeon to fucking work and Inugami to drop.
Getting 756 exp per clear, at 3stam per run.
aevry, I sent a request to join the guild. IGN: Tziroth.
Added! Currently the cap on guild is 30, so I may need to remove a few folks that haven't logged in a few days. I don't think there's any way to increase it at this time.
Thrawnseg - sent req to join guild
I have a bunch of angelmon sitting around doing nothing. It seems like a pain in the ass to try and level them to 15. What do you guys do with them?
