Here we go again boys:
20 injured in Pittsburgh-area high school stabbings, authorities say - CNN.com
FUCK FUCKED UP THE TITLE SHIT
We should regulate the number of knifes anyone can carry.
Not everything on the internet is true - Abraham Lincoln
Yes, I'm sure the body/blood/injury count would have been a lot lower if the kid had only been allowed to exercise his 2nd amendment right.
20 injuries an no fatalities? Yeah, ban knives.
Actually one girl who was stabbed rushed back and put pressure on her friend's wounds. Doctors came out to thank her for saving her friend's life.
I blame World of Warcraft! Ban video games!
edit: All jokes aside, thats a shitty thing that happened. Im glad there were no fatalities. Im sure it could of been a lot worse.

damnit all the good jokes have already been used
Dumb kid. He should have taken Anatomy & Physiology first. 0 for 20 is bad.
The knives must have had a pistol grip.

Duel wield and no fatalities? That's some shitty dps.
He probably just clicked auto attack went afk to take a piss and get another hot pocket.

Nah he was just trying to agro a bunch of mobs for his group to AE down. Probably forgot to group with his enchanter/wizard goth friends before the pull, so he got mowed down by the train.
I am sure he was using an Assault knife. The bastard!
But 20 people? During class change over you could have done 20 people in about 30 seconds at my old high school. So maybe it's not what it seems, either. Maybe someone just had to actually notice what was going on and then it was stopped.
This story... it cuts me deep.
Knife magazine not big enough.
Guess he shouldn't have cut class.

a nice little gun would've done a proper job of amputating his wrist.
Why are you saying he's smug? He's just posting with a pic of him in the hospital.
Who would take picture of themselves and point at their injury to gain attention? That's cuntish bros.
Fact: Pussies rustled by someone taking a pic of their injury are most likely to hide from an knife-wielding attacker.
If you go to his facebook and see the spamming he's doing for some web site that has a "video" (hint: there is no video) of the stabbing, you will quickly realize he is a douche. The reasons for calling him a douche are unjustified, but that does not change who he is.
maybe that guy got a shitload of phonecalls/texts/tweets/facebook messages/whatever stupid kids use nowadays and shut them all up by posting a pic of himself as fine and pointing to his injury incase anyone asks where he got cut. haircut looks fine compared to what emofags were sporting 5 years ago.
This big fucker stopped a guy with a knife who had killed 4 people 2 years back.
Maksim Gelman stabbing spree - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Takes some real balls to just volunteer for that.
There should be legislation to ban selfies because of this incident.
Well no wonder he chalked up a score of zero. He didn't have the necessary dexterity for the Ambidexterity feat PLUS he was using two one-handed weapons. If he didn't have Two-Weapon Fighting either (I mean look at him, do you think he has Two-Weapon Fighting? I don't) he was running around something like -4 on his primary and -10 on his offhand.
It was probably lag. He thought he was landing critical hits, but his RNG sucked and he was only getting white auto-attack damage, then by the time the client caught up, he realized his DPS sucked and he had aggro'd some NPCs which dazed and stunlocked him,
If everyone had knives then these victims could have defended themselves...
Whoops, forgot we were doing it gamer style. My sneak/hide would need to be maxed for this encounter, otherwise I'm mashing the run button.
Ban everything. Destroy America.
I don't think I've ever seen this many bad jokes in a single thread. Impressive.
Schools should just enable Slappers Only.
I'll bet if it was a gun there would have been less injuries. More people would have heard a gun shot and ran / took cover than some guy stabbing random people before they noticed.
I don't understand why Assualt Knives are allowed at schools? Crazy
I think his logic is fine, but I still think he's just wrong not stupid. Most users are more likely to hurt themselves with a knife than a gun.
I've been in the ER working on a guy who was shot 11 times in the back and still lived and had a 90% recovery. Could've had a similar event here. Kid was bad with knives, what's to say he wouldn't have been equally bad with dual .38's?

I think his point was that the kid was sneaking around and stabbing people and nobody knew what was going on because it was quiet. If they had heard a gunshot they probably would have run for the doors. It would be hard to shoot 21 people if everyone took off running after the first shot.
Because you don't miss with a knife. You may not inflict the wound you wanted to, but you don't miss. Knives don't kick. Knives don't produce a sound that people have learned to associate with extreme violence. You don't have to (but obviously can) train a man in the proper operation of a knife. A knife is only an extension of the hand. A gun is an extension of the eye.
"Easier" seems a bit too broad, is all. A gun is obviously a more powerful tool.
I do agree with the basic point. It just depends on what the meaning of "is" is, I guess. Easier is not the word I would have chosen.
America needs better mental health care and to work on removing the stigma attached to seeking help.
The guy stabbed over 20 people and they are all still alive last I heard. It's not that easy to inflict deadly wounds with a knife. The standard rule to effectively damage organs is 6" of penetrations. Slashing wounds are incapacitating and scary because of the amount of blood, but they are rarely as lethal as penetrating wounds, especially if someone gives first aid. Either type require a fair amount of force, fat, muscles and bones actually offer a fair amount of resistance. Arteries aren't as easy to strike as one would think. A larger knife obviously offer more leverage and can be more traumatic than a firearm, but it's not exactly stealthy.
Also, knifes can fail to penetrate and get stuck in clothes, hit a rib leaving a minor wound when a deadly strike was expected, be dodged or blocked, your grip can slip and you cut your own fingers. Knifes miss plenty.
We'll all be utterly fucked when they start making guns that shoot knives.
Luckily the kid sucked at it. But I maintain you could run down the hall knifing unsuspecting people in the kidney more easily than you can walk down the hall shooting people in the face. After you shoot that first guy in the face, the gig is up and what you now have is target practice.
Now if he'd had a bayonette it all becomes moot.
This is a great discussions to have. How many children can you "knife in the kidney" before stopped vs how many children can you fucking shoot with an assault Rifle.
We like our freedom free.
Im thinking the "how many kids can I kill" will become the new "Heres how I would survive the Zombie Apocalypse".
will we ever get a female who shoots up a school? if so, i hope she isn't fat.
Is this the new bat vs shovel? Knife vs. gun: maximum carnage!
That's just cheating
