Not yet since it was scheduled against GoT.
Based on Alexander Rose’s book Washington’s Spies, AMC’s TURN tells the untold story of America’s first spy ring. A historical thriller set during the Revolutionary War.
Anyone Watch this is it any good?
Not yet since it was scheduled against GoT.
Yeah, dvr'ed it up, if its any good; between this, Cosmos, and GoT we might need to upgrade our shitty box so we can actually record more than 2 shows at once.
AMC's Revolutionary War spy drama 'Turn' unfurls with 2.1 million viewers
Good first episode. Stellar cast.

Was pretty good, definitely worth watching next weeks episode
Finally got around to watching this on DVR was really good, between this and game of thrones my sundays will be busy.
Wow. You go, AMC! Way to make up for the stink of zombies and bad writing.
Seriously enjoying this show. It is pretty much everything I wanted from a spy story from that era.
I finally sat down and watched the pilot episode. Pretty cool stuff. I really like how they're showing the brutality of the Revolutionary War. It's always seemed to me that this war, more than any other American war, has been romanticized way too much. By that I mean, when people nowadays think about World War II, the Civil War, the Vietnam War, etc., they think of the death, destruction, and suffering; however, when people think of the Revolutionary War they think of the grand figures and ideals behind it, without considering that it was just as brutal as any other war.
That early scene in the pilot of the ranger going through the battlefield and stabbing the wounded soldiers without remorse was a great way to show that, yes, this is a fucking war and it's violent.
*Edit* Does anyone else have problems understanding some of the dialogue? I swear some of the accents are just horribly difficult to make out every word clearly. I understand it's realistic, but I found myself actually saying "what the fuck did he just say?" to myself multiple times.

Episode 3 airing last night was the best so far. I'm really enjoying this series.
Just powered through the first three episodes. Show is good. Good dialogue and well-acted. I'll keep watching.
This show so farr has been solid have it co DVR at same time with game of thrones followed by the new show Salem at 10PM on WGN.
I also on sundays download the newest episode of Continuum from Canada on sunday nights last week was repeat on showcase.
Anyone still watching this, watched it tonight and it was pretty solid still, really like some the characters.
I'll keep watching for now. I'm expecting more stuff to happen. This show can feel uneventful or inconsequential. What happened to the asshole lieutenant? Wasn't he let go to resume his post in Setauket?
Really diggin this show. Good actors and the story is rolling along nicely
Just got done watching it on the DVR.
Another really solid episode.
Anyone know how true the stories are? I know all the main characters in the show were real people. I've never read much on this part of the war and don't really want to now so as not to spoil certain things. Was just curious how close to reality it is.
Still loving the show by the way. It's got some great acting in it and is pretty well written.
Really good episode tonight.
I never understand why he broke uo with ann for his wife instead to me she be better for him.
only 2 episodes left.
That's not why Abe called it off with Anna though. Abe admitted that he was the one responsible for starting the riot that resulted in his brother dying. That had way more to do with it than his father's wishes.
Just finished this and thought it was really well done. Hopefully it gets renewed for season 2.
It really picked up towards the end. I think the next season will be better. I wonder what's going to happen to Simcoe. I hope he gets hanged. He's too evil and crazy.
When are they going to reveal the native assassin that's killing redcoats? Are they just going to pretend there wasn't one? Writing natives out of our history is lame.
I watched this last week when I was sick. Awesome show.
Really enjoying this. Simcoe is so easy to hate and the way they're portraying Arnold is pretty awesome. Definitely worth a watch.
Just watched the first episode of this season. Solid stuff. You knew Simcoe wasn't going to stay down for long.
I don't particularly care for how batshit crazy they made George III seem though. That seems really historically inaccurate. Was he that much of a menace?
I've seen the SS portrayed more favorably than British redcoats here. But it turns out this show is pretty good
I know it's made for an American audience but the British are just ridiculous caricatures
I don't take it personally, if I had my way then Britain would also be a republic. I just don't think its good story telling/writing.
