They upgraded The Humble Bundle. Added Titan Quest to the bundle.
Cause who doesn't like cheap games you only ever play once?
I've heard good things about hotline Miami but I think I'm holding out to the holiday sale.
It's fun. And it feels like a schizophrenic dream.
My wife wants the new sims 3 expansions that finally got released on Steam (Seasons, supernatural etc.) You guys think we'll see them on sale before xmas, or should I just tell her to understand her place in life and wait a year until they'll definitely be on sale?
Can we get this thread Stickied please?
they added more games...?
Haast, no truer words have been spoken.
TQ was, and still is, the pinnacle of action-rpgs. Grim Dawn, their next game, looks to keep the dream alive.
The way IronLore went down is Shakespearean.
If you already picked up the Humble Bundle earlier can you get Titan's Quest?
You should be able to grab Titan's Quest and the other DLC they added by going to the original confirmation email and just clicking the link again, it adds it to your download page automatically.
They key to a really great Titans Quest experience is to also buy the Immortal Throne pack. It adds a ton of stuff even to the base game like scrolls and artifacts, and most importantly Caravans in every major outpost which act as a bank/storage system that ALSO lets you transfer your good loot drops to another character. Why more RPGs don't do this, IDK, its an awesome feature.
I had to create a humble bundle account and link it to my prior purchase but ti was easy as shit. Thanks for the infos +1. They also added DLC content for the Red Faction game which I got to add. This is bundle is phenomenal. You should be able to grab Titan's Quest and the other DLC they added by going to the original confirmation email and just clicking the link again, it adds it to your download page automatically.
I will say to those that didn't even click on the Humble Bundle link that it contains Saints Row 3 if you pay the average price, like five or six bucks. Saints Row 3 ALONE is worth that. You'll get between 10 and 200 hours of enjoyment from it.
Titan Quest did Diablo better than Diablo, IMO. But yes, it did start off rather slow. Grim Dawn can't come out soon enough.
One question I do have though is that I remember having to install a bunch of player made tweaks and patches to get the game to run smooth because the original devs all got fired or went out of business or something? Is that necessary for this steam copy?
Castle Crashers is on sale for $5. Absolutely worth that price.
Halo 4 currently 39.99 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Halo-4-Xbox-36...tag=slicinc-20
if you do something with Amazon and Facebook, you get $5 off a $25 purchase. This allegedly expires today but I don't have a facebook account.
If you have an American Express card, you can sync it with your xbox live account and get a $25 statement credit after beating Halo 4 on Normal difficulty or higher. This expires at the end of December I think.
so all told you could potentially have the game for 10 bucks...
**Nevermind he's around.
Oh crap! I was just looking at the top games. I didn't realize the other categories of games that were on there! Sweeeettttt!!
Despite claiming to be 50% on Thursday it looks like Green Man Gaming has moved the Chivalry sale up to today, that's twelve bucks and it stacks with the voucher so you can bring it down to nine and change.
If you don't buy Chivalry at that price you are kinda dumb
GameFly has several PC Digital Download Games on sale. Save an extra 20% with coupon code 1GFT1112.
Prices after 20% off code:
The Walking Dead $10
XCOM: Enemy Unknown $20
Crysis Maximum Edition $6
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition $12
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic $2
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut $4
Only Walking Dead and XCOM activate on Steam, others I don't believe so. But those two are probably the ones people want the most anyway.
Dawn of War GOY edition added to THQ Humble Bundle.
This thread is going to make me go broke. Shit.
Assassin's Creed 3 on Sale on Amazon $33, not earth shattering but maybe the cheapest you'll see it for the holidays.
Free copy of Metro 2033 if you follow this link and "like" the page there for THQ on Facebook.
Just an fyi, there was a survey you could complete on Greenmangaming that gave you a 35% voucher (not a unique code, so people could share it, but the survey is short and easy). Originally it expired January 1st, now it expires December 14th and is posted on this page.
What the hell is up with THQ giving away all this shit? Can't say I've ever seen a company do this.
Dunno, I want to buy it but I also want to wait till they add more.
If they add more, does it get retroactively added to people that already bought it?
Thinking about it I care nothing about the CoH series and I know nothing about Darksiders, Metro or Red Faction but Saint's Row and DoW look interesting and they have to easily be worth more then 6$.
Damn you Steam, forcing me to pay for my games with these evil sales.
Green Man Gaming has Bastion for $2.92 with the code: WINTR-SRVEY-42012 ($4.49 - $1.57)
Don't think it activates on Steam though.
Green Man Gaming have Batman Arkham City GOTY on a 24h deal for $7.49, use code: WINTR-SRVEY-42012 to shave off 35% for a total price of $ 4.87.
Activates on steam !

batman: arkham city GOTY edition is on sale for $4.87 on gmg:
use coupon code WINTR-SRVEY-42012 to bring it down to $4.87. You get a steam key, GOTY edition includes all DLCs and patches.
lol double post haha
I'm probably one of the few people who only own 1 game on that THQ humble bundle. Other than Titan Quest, all the games are new to me. Such an amazing steal for so much high quality gaming.
Big Squeenix sale, FF13-2 for $10 free shipping and other 50% off sales as well

Charged my damn card before I could get my 35% off.
I did this with Torchlight 2 as well... paid $20, and the very next day it went on sale for $10. I must love paying full price for games. FML.
1) They need capital quickly and software has a very little inherent cost, so almost all money generated is profit.
2) A lot of the games had DLC or add-ons that are not part of the pack. They probably hope you like some of the games and buy additional content.
Death rally for 1$ on steam if you claim your code via the Death rally facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Deathrally. Follow the instructions on their facebook page to get the serialnumber and then register it on STEAM to get a 90% off voucher to be used with your purchase.
Oh wow those are some good deals. I've got Bioshock 1/2 and Spec Ops: The line on Xbox , but seriously considering getting it for the PC. Hmm..
And Secret World for $15, and no sub? Can't hurt, right?
Those sales are mixed. Some good ones in there, but lotta traps too. For example, Lego Harry Potter was on GMG for like $5 with the same % discount, just because amazon has a higher base value I guess. Nothing on the amazon sale for me currently actually, but there's going to be daily deals again too.
Definitely going to snag that KoA complete pack for 12 bucks. Doesn't seem like it'll ever be that cheap on Steam.
I don't think so. They make a big deal in the banner about how it's the, "End of the World DRM-Free Sale"
Pay what you want for The Binding of Isaac (and its DLC, Wrath of the Lamb!), Closure, Shank 2, Snapshot, and the documentary feature film Indie Game: The Movie! If you choose to pay more than the average, you’ll also get Legend of Grimrock and Dungeon Defenders (with a ton of DLC)! This bundle also comes with many fantastic soundtracks in lossless (FLAC) and MP3!
I know some people have been interested in getting it for DayZ, but I don't believe it activates on Steam. They do mention activation codes, so maybe people get lucky.

How good is Crusader's King II? I've played EU3, Victoria II, etc, and had great experience with both. Steam has it on sale at 75% off. Is it good?

does it start tomorrow? (Thursday?)
The rapening has come. On my wallet.

that is so fucking awesome
Sorry double post...
Edit: Does Green man Gaming try and compete with any Christmas sales, or just Steam?
Steam Christmas sale (and probably the summer sale) has become something of an annual holiday. It's where the bulk of my games purchases comes every year. I bet at least a third, if not more of Valve's annual revenue comes from the holiday sale.
GOG's whole schtick is that everything they sell is DRM free, you'll never get steam codes from anything you buy on there. Other than the downloader client, once installed you just run stuff from the game icon and off you go. If you want it in your steam list then you can add it as a third party game. If you are thinking about auto patching etc, 99% of what they sell is so old it won't be patched anymore anyway!
Ended up passing on the THQ bundle, but holy jesus the new indie bundle is godly and luckily I don't have any of the games yet.
Epic rape-your-wallet holiday sale should begin in ~30mins. Steady yourselves.
Thinking of buying the Ubisoft bundle. Mainly for AC3, HOMM6, Anno.
Fuck it will just buy it. That is a ton of content I want for only $90.
Not impressed with today's deals. Many of the deals have been cheaper recently and in some cases are currently cheaper in other places.
Well its the first time I've seen Natural Selection 2 on sale. Really fun game for only 10 bucks.
Nothing catching my eye today either as an impluse buy. That Indie Mega Pack is insane. THQ pack actually better than the humble bundle at $25? Depending on my budget I may gift a game or two on my friends list as I did last year, we'll see.
The Bethesda pack would be awesome if you somehow didn't own all those games already.
Sort of disappointed this sale doesn't have any sort of gimmick to it. That was always one of my favorite things about Steam sales, going all the way back to the Treasure Hunt. It was a great way to encourage me to pull out some old games to revisit, and in all honesty, did get me to buy a few games I'd otherwise have missed. It was always something that set Steam apart when it came to sales, and you'd think that'd be something they would be continuing to strive for considering increasing competition from other digital game sellers. Voting for deals isn't terribly exciting, especially given how it works.
We should be able to vote Mirror's Edge off the island.
Arkham City + all DLC for 7.50 is the one thing I bought today.
Unfortunately I already own the vast majority of the games I'd even consider playing, so this sale probably won't do much for me. Honestly the thing that would make me the happiest is yet another Orcs Must Die 2 booster pack/dlc/whatever you want to call it. I've played the fuck out of that game and need more!
