A bit cliche, but I do enjoy it:

Big trouble in little china
Love The Stoned Age. What qualifies as a cult classic?
If the porn isn't high res you can't get horny, but you can hate a guy at 1000 paces without a scope. That's human nature.
There was this one really good movie that didn't get any respect in the theaters but built a massive cult following. I forget the name of it. The Big ... something
The Big Sandusky?
The Big Lewandowski?
I'm sure it'll come to me later.
this is too broad of a category, there are so many...
- Clockwork Orange
- The Last Dragon .. Sho'Nuff!
- American Werewolf in London
- Spinal Tap
- They Live
Off the top of my head this are great cult classics
well ill just say anything John Waters directed is a cult classic. my favorites being Polyester, Serial Mom, Female Trouble and Desperate Living.
Tommy Wiseau's "The Room". Movie is so bad it is hilarious
a chinese B or C-movie but i think you have seen many scenes from it.
it's so strange, exaggerated and poorly executed (special effects), that transforms into a very funny movie.
A war is coming, I've seen it in my dreams. Fires sweeping over the Earth, bodies in the streets, cities turned to dust... retaliation.
Hollywood is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until everything you love is dead.
You guys already mentioned the warriors and the stoned age. But in addition to that one I would have to say the lost boys.
Night of the Creeps
Loves me some Night of the Creeps.
i got good news and bad news. the good news is your dates are here. the bad news is they are all dead!
Its more of a guilty pleasure than a cult movie, but "The Pirate Movie".
please dont hurt me....
Big Rocky Horror fan. Think I saw it when I was in my teens/twenties between 100-200 times.
Here are two from when I was young.
Big Trouble in Little China.

Not sure if it's cult, acclaimed cult, fuck-face cult, what have you.
People still go to the see films that are being spoken of, despite of quality, so good or bad can fall here.
This was a film I wish people would have lined up to see.
i loved killer klowns from outer space. one of my all time favorite cult movies is "return of the living dead." pure gold. also gotta throw in "the last dragon." LEROY!!!! warmed up, yet?
I always enjoyed Cannibal Holocaust. The movie is ok, and the killing of animals was kind of shitty (although they ate everything they killed), but what really made it awesome was the fallout. It's banned in so many countries, had idiots like Charlie Sheen (LOL) pursuing legal action because he thought it was real and the people really died, and generally causes people to go "What the fuck did I just watch." To me it is awesome.
Dogs in Space
There is a shitload of good cult movies I could list, but the obscure ones are
Miracle Mile, if you don't watch anything going in will blow you away.
Monster Club plays every Haloween, and I still love it. Its a trilogy film like creepshow
Carpenters student film, love it

"It's better to look ugly and win, than pretty and lose."
I know I mentioned it in this thread already but I went so far as to edit a clip of Night of the Creeps I like it so much.
video is private.
I thought if I put it on private and linked it than it would still work here for people to click on?
I R Stoopid.
edit - made it unlisted, that's it right?
aye its working now. ass you are gonna make me watch this tonight.
It has zombies and nudity and exploding heads and axe wielding manaics and TOM ATKINS BEING FUCKING AWESOME. For B Horror it's pretty much top shelf.
It also has bonus points for me forever because there are two different endings. They couldn't finish the expensive final shot so the original ending is much shorter and the one I saw as a kid on VHS. When I later saw the movie on cable it had the long, different ending and boy did it freak me the fuck out having the movie suddenly be different like that. This cannot be! screamed my adolescent mind, unable to comprehend what I was seeing.
Yeah i had to watch it again. Probably havnt seen it since the 90s. I watched the directors cut. Ending was different.great movie, still holds up well.Spoiler:
Showgirls Budget: $45 million
Box Office: $37 million
Please define grossing well.

Showgirls is IMO a good satire movie, only it has questionable writing, bad direction, awful production (IIRC 3 studio execs for the whole flick) and partisan cast (yeah it's objectively bad). It's not one of my preferred movies and it's clinically bad, but I respect Verhoeven mostly because he was trying to break Hollywood's business rules model at the time, while forcing itself into the production scam.
Showgirls is inherently a bad film, mostly because Verhoeven tried to make a point in Hollywood, which he failed. I love him and I praise his works, but that was a jerk move, in my opinion.
striptease is more of a cult film than showgirls. i just used showgirls as wank material
