Ehhh, will definitely make for some different strategies. I can't believe they brought Colton back.

Premieres September 18th.
Ehhh, will definitely make for some different strategies. I can't believe they brought Colton back.
Yeah, my first reaction was to groan and complain that I wasn't interested in watching yet another tribe of former players destroy a team of new players, but this does offer a different type of dynamic that could be interesting. It's not just a matter of voting someone off because they're useless or a threat, but to remove a potential advantage another player could have down the line. Plus, I would think these first-time players will have a lot more familiarity with the show than a lot of new players we've gotten recently, not only because they have a loved one who played, but because they have a loved-one who has a vested interest in ensuring they are prepared.
I was going to say it would be interesting to see if Colton would go into turbo-cunt mode immediately if he had a family member there but since it's just a "boyfriend" I doubt he really gives a shit. It will be somewhat interesting to see if he moderates himself after being universally hated by every human being on his first time on the show, but i'm sure the producers will be pushing him to be the same old Colton.
The only other name on that list that rings a bell is Tyson, and all I remember about him was that he was a bike racer, had some funny confessional comments, and went out in some especially dumb way. Oh and Rupert who people liked in older seasons that I didn't see but was just a dumbass in heroes vs. villains.
Tyson ftw. I hope Colton gets killed within the first few episodes, and I can't believe that 30% of this cast is coming from One World (with loved ones). That season was so terrible.
And if Colton wasn't bad enough:
Couldn't that have stayed dead? I'd much rather have reward challenges than have to spend the first 15 minutes on this. Though, they did add a couple interesting twists:Redemption Island is back. Anyone voted out will be sent there and will then compete in a three person duel. The last place finisher in each contest is out of the game for good, while the top two remain.
Anyone voted out will be sent there and will then compete in a three person duel. The last place finisher in each contest is out of the game for good, while the top two remain. However, if someone’s loved one is still in the game they can take their loved one’s place before a duel.I suppose that could create some strategic elements that might make the Redemption Island challenges worth watching...The person who finishes first in each duel will also get to give a clue to the location of a hidden immunity idol to any person from either tribe that they choose.

Not to say I'm a genius, but I suggested this type of format years ago. Possibly while drunk.
Fuck it ... I am a genius!
Merges are going to be awesome. Alliances pre-merge are going to be completely fucked.
Season ruined before it even started. Redemption Island = instant fail. Possible worst season ever incoming.
I wouldn't say I loved redemption island, but I don't think it ruined everything the way that you guys seem to.
It might be ok if it weren't for:
Taking away the first 15 minutes of every episode to focus on 2 people (now 3) who were already voted out.
Those 15 minutes take away time from the people still in the game, AND replace the reward challenge.
It changes the whole nature of Survivor, as these people were already outwitted/outlasted/outplayed but are still in the game.
It destroys the importance and finality of Tribal. The suspense is gone. The blindsides are ho-hum. The the people who get voted out are all like, "cya soon!"
It is not Survivor and it fundamentally RUINS the game.
watched only the 1st season, plan to watch this...
who should i root for?
who should i hate?
(just to get an idea)
i've heard about the gay mean boy colton.
and i've seen the big brother 12 winner hayden, he was a boring piece of trash.
is there a favorite?
Colton (with every fiber of your being)
Favorite: I'd say Tyson.
It just totally shits all over the game and is by *far* the single worst thing that they have ever done and that they could ever bring back. I hope the ratings for this season tank because of it and they learn to never, ever, ever fucking do it again.
It also changes the way people play the game. You have people who are good at everything (Ozzie) not give fucks about alliances, politicking, and even voting himself out of the game, just to run through Redemption and clean house.
It would be like in Football, if the loosing team at the end of the game, no matter the score, got a chance to run their 2 minute drill to automatically tie the game and force overtime.
And, aside from changing the first 15 minutes of the episode, it really hasn't done much else. In every case, the person who returns from Redemption Island is almost immediately voted back out. In the first season, each person who came back from Redemption Island (Matt and Andrea) were voted out the very episode they returned. The second time they used it, Ozzy returned both times and only survived one Tribal Council each time. The impact it has on the actual gameplay is very slight, but the amount of time devoted to it is significant.
Granted, that might be a little different this time around due to the whole loved one angle, but it still isn't worth spending so much time with people who already got voted out, nor worth seeing people who couldn't "outlast" get back into the game. Not to mention how it changes the entire dynamic the Tribal Councils and makes them less suspenseful. If they're going to insist on having this failed idea, I wish they'd at least do what Top Chef does and have all the Redemption stuff exist as online content, separate from the game, until the player returns.
Ugh, terrible news about Redemption.
They should have only put people on the show with boyfriends/girlfriends. The hilarity of the breakups during/after the show, would've been a sight to behold.
There is a big difference between "root against" and "unwatchable". I think Colton makes a pretty good TV villain that you can hate. He is rotten to the core. I'd rather have him around stirring shit up, than half the people they cast, who do not even play the game.
Yeah, I hate Colton, but I'm more compelled to watch in hopes that he gets owned. Redemption Island just sucks cock(not literally like Colton).
The point is, Colton really isn't really in the same category. Colton wasn't a villain because he played the game ruthlessly or because he was a backstabber. He was just a whiny little brat that got petulant whenever things didn't go his way. His grand strategy amounted to lucking into a position of power and then using that to bully the weaker players with occasionally racist and otherwise bigoted remarks. He wasn't a villain that you love to hate since he had no redeemable features. He had no strategy, didn't really play the game, and was just all-around a horrible human being. He might be a good villain in the traditional sense of the word, but he wasn't a good Survivor villain.
Though, most of what we see in the show is heavily edited and chosen specifically to give certain perceptions and create drama, so I'm willing to accept he might not be as bad this time around. And, if he is, hopefully his comeuppance will be swift and hilarious.
I feel like Redemption could work if done properly. Last time it was too comfy. I feel like they should literally stick the exiles on a deserted island with nothing but their minds and then put Colton with a Black person and let the hilarity ensue. I'd love for nothing more than to watch Gervase tear that faggot a new one.
When fohguild.org is in ashes, then you have my permission to die.
Cantatus, what you said is also very true about Brandon Hantz. And it's clear the people casting the show don't know the difference between a "villain" and an "asshole." They thought people liked to hate Brandon because he was a good villain, but it's really people just hated him because he's psycho. Same thing with Colton. It'll end up being awful.
I just glanced at her twitter feed and noticed this:
Are they actually forming alliances before the game even starts?@DaltonRoss thanks for the update and putting the truth out there. Wish I got to say goodbye to everyone/my alliance and tell them myself.
From what I've read, many Survivor alums meet after the show is over and hang out on occasion. Based on that, it'd make sense that the ones that form friendships outside of the show have pre-built alliances going into the season. I think we saw some of that on Heroes vs. Villains when certain players were immediately on the outs for no apparent reason.
Sucks that they replaced RC with Candice, who should have never been brought back a 2nd time, let alone a third.
Starts tonight I think. never been less excited for a season of survivor ever.
I hope Rupert gets voted off immediately.. is this like his 4th time playing? You lost dude, get over it.
I am in the same boat, not really excited for this season. Redemption island and returning players make me less interested. I do like the family member concept so i will be watching, just not sure what to expect.
i know that CBS organizes a party or 2 when a show ends, like big brother, almost all the cast members attend, and other big brother alums. Also they have previous amazing race and survivors attend as well, this is how they all get to know each other and cross shows (i.e. from big brother, he's in amazing race) blah blah. And a lot of other venues like big named youtube channels or podcasts will get these guys together for "afterparties". Basically it's a big CBS family.
I think she was the only person I ever e-stalked. We actually had a few Facebook message conversations back in the Phillipines season. I asked her a few Survivor questions and discoussed other things. She was a really nice down to earth girl.
*edit* yep:Can't knock a guy who has been helping kids since day 1 of Survivor."After All-Stars ended a special aired called Survivor: America's Tribal Council, in which viewers were given the opportunity in a contest called "America Votes", to select one of the eighteen contestants to win one million dollars. The finalists were Boneham, Colby Donaldson, Tom Buchanan, and Rob Mariano. Boneham won the million dollars, receiving 85% of the 38 million votes cast. He spent his prize money on his family's debts, a college fund for his daughter, a new house for his family, and the creation of his charity, Rupert's Kids, which mentors troubled children"
This just in : Colton is still a piece of shit.
Stupid episode. That ex-nfl guy is a dumber than a bucket of shit and the main source of lulz so far from what looks to be a painful season ahead. No one sticks out so far as really likable to root for.
My friends, our fears are confirmed. We have an awful season ahead of us.
Glad to see this thread is going to be a full season bitchfest.
The loved one thing definitely adds a different dynamic. Basically everything you do to help yourself potentially hurts your loved one, and it's clear that they're going to go out of their way to put people in positions where they have to choose between their loved ones and themselves in front of everyone.
Gervais or whatever the dude's name was had to be one of the most pathetic performances I've seen in a challenge. The returning players are supposed to have the advantage but between him and the blonde girl that was threatened with being hit over the head with a paddle they have some real dogs on their team.
Sucks that Marissa got voted off. She seemed nice and normal and she had a smokin body.
Definitely like the new player tribe more. The doctor guy has the look the typical arrogant douchebag but actually seems like an ok guy to root for. The former addict seems pretty interesting too.
Every time they show rupert's wife I have to stop myself from throwing up.
So, I correctly picked the winner based off of the ep1 edit in the past two seasons, and I have a really good feeling about this prediction, too: Monica. She had a lot of airtime, a strong opening sound byte, and has a retard of a husband who is sitting in a good position on his tribe (majority alliance, at least).
Anyway, I'm not completely down on the season so far. I want Colton gone immediately, and I'm happy that my other two least favorites (Candice and Rupert) are already on RI. With the twist, RI has a chance of being semi-decent. I still hate it, but maybe it wont be so bad this time.
Things that could make this season work:
Colton getting taken out early. Rupert and Candice not lasting long at RI. Tyson and Aras lasting far beyond the merge. The Broliance sticking around for awhile (they're pretty funny in a dumb way). RI being eliminated after the merge.
A normal black chick gets voted off first and another that nearly drowns in a water challenge, welcome to Survivor.
Sad Tyson got such a bad edit, they need a tribe swap, which should be more dynamic now at least. Please let Colton get booted next.
this is my first time watching survivor in a long time...
but i've watched big brother, and the big brother winner hayden in the noobies, is doing exactly what he did in big brother, not do anything to stick out, do well on challenges and let others talk. You just see him nodding his head the whole episode, he won big brother doing that and he's athletic.
i can see how no one likes that gay guy, wow he's just a sad human, i liked how he tried to use his gayness to gain popularity that night. "I'm gay in the south, boo hoo", what will be interesting is how vile his gay partner turns out to be, that'll be something to watch.
of course the black girl get's voted off first, she's... the black girl, that's like normal tv.
daughters seemed dumb on that puzzle, well at least the blond.
i liked the old guy doing nothing lol, sounds like a good strategy to me.
i hope mean gay guy stays, otherwise it wouldn't be fun!
This was the worst first episode of Survivor I can remember. I'm not going to hate on the entire season yet, but Colton crying while telling his campfire confessional? The one chick talking about being a teen-mom? The dude talking about being a degenerate drug-addict? Is this Survivor or Celebrity Rehab?
Also, fuck Redemption "Island".
Colton is 1000 times worse than he came across on this episode. It looks like the real Colton will be back next week. i am sort of interested in his partner just to see what kind of person voluntarily spends time with Colton.
I loved Brad's reasoning for the big bro-lliance (which is made even more hilarious that he is running it). "Us big studly menz gotta stick together! These weak women and little weak pussies like Cochran are winning survivor these days!" Goddamn, this guy is going to be fun to watch.
I'd like the drug addict criminal better if he was more sneaky and mysterious. What the fuck is with the compulsive need to tell everyone your life's story within 10 minutes of meeting them? Reminds me of Chunk from the Goonies.
What really soured me on that episode was 2 people being made to go to RI right off the bat for no other reason than the producers thought that would be a clever exciting start. That said, I am not a fan of Rupert so I hope he goes first. He's always working that passive aggressive "whah! poor me, my sob story is worst and I have it tougher than anyone!" emotional angle and I hate that.
I did laugh a little at Rupert's "I'm not doing shit" attitude.
I'm trying to remember what Colton said.. but didn't Jeff ask him if he knew any black people and he said his housekeeper or something. Guy is a major dick and doesn't get it, at all. No one gives a fuck that you're gay, and crying is a nice sign of weakness on night 1. If the tribe is smart they'll remember how he was and get rid of him immediately. Queen Colton cannot persevere.
I found it interesting that the druggy and his brother had completely different motivations. The normal brother acted like he wanted to rub it in his brother's face if he wins, and the drug addict said he thought it was cool because they could bond playing survivor together. I'm hoping the drug addict wins just for that.
I'm still on the fence whether or not I'll watch this season or not, right now I'm just catching the episodes as my wife watches them - if they get more interesting I might pay more attention.
I'm also a bit confused by the whole winning thing, unless I'm missing something. If a husband or a wife win, I know there's some contract where they aren't allowed to share winnings but realistically nothing will happen. Doesn't being on the show with a close family member basically double your chance of winning? SOrry if it's been pointed out.
Clearly you are sharing the winnings with your wife/husband. I'm sure they have amended the rule in that regard for this season.
i think it'll be like what happened in big brother spoiler if you haven't watched big brother 8? like 8 years ago
the final two was a father and daughter, father won, he wasn't allowed to give/split money with daughter but he could pay for college buy a car.
i'm a survivor noob so whats with rupert? why'd they all pick his wife and why they all want him on the team (i guess he was survivorman?)
The minute I heard the overall theme I instantly cooled to the idea... But now that it's revealed it's actually really just a fans vs favorites season (and honestly I can see why they did this, because fans vs favorites were two popular seasons). I was on the hardcore no returning players boat as well, until after this season of big brother. I don't think the casting folks for these shows have it in them to truly cast anymore... This season of Big Brother blew, and honestly the most recent seasons of Survivor with all new players have been pretty bad too. As long as there are recruits, a show full of newbies will suck.
Redemption island is a terrible idea, has always been a terrible idea, and I could have sworn that Survivor's producers realized this. I guess not I am holding out hope that this season won't completely suck, but I don't think that is possible. And if Colton goes all queen dick on everyone, then his ass is gone. He does have others from his season on there (and not even what few good ones there were either wtf??) and I don't think they will put up with his shit.
And Gervis: I know this is racial as hell, but almost completely true: what is it with black people, guys in particular, and swimming? It's like the vast majority of them really suck at it or can't swim at all. I mean hell Gervis about friggin drowned for Christ's sake.
Rooting for Drug Addict too, I love good comeback stories, and it really sounds like the dude has been trying to get past that for 14 years now.
Last edited by Namon; 09-19-2013 at 10:13 PM.
bio said gervis is 43, i don't know if that plays a factor... but why wasn't there others helping him more (strong swimmers), but then you're a veteran, you should know you have to keep in shape before the show. but yea black, just like in big brother the biggest strongest guy there couldn't paddle his way out of the pool in the first challenge and he was black too.
yea, what's with the drug addicts brothers story? he sounds like an ass just so he can beat his druggie brother who seems grateful at a second chance for living. I mean very few ppl sound sincere on reality tv, but he really sounded sincere when he said he was glad they took him to jail and straightened him out.
I am a big Probst fan, but god damnit if he didn't annoy the shit out of me this first episode.
This fuckin season...
It would have been better if the first two voted out just switched teams instead of being sent to RI immediately.
Yeah the immediate RI was dumb. Even if Rupert had an idea that would happen, I have to give him credit for letting his wife play in his place. I mean, he was probably thinking "if I let her go I am never hitting that again, if I go she will let me map out Hawaii on her back. " whatever the motivation was, I thought it was sort of touching.
Rupert is a power player, that's why everyone wanted to dismantle him.
when they got out candice, the husband in me was like WTF, i'm subbing in, then i find out that, she's already played the game twice, bitch shouldn't even have consulted with him, she shoulda said "no you stay, i'll take on rupert". if all you guys hate the racist gay guy, why wasn't he voted out instead of rupert do you think? is he useless? (looked like it from the first episode) and can be voted off whenever.
coming into this game strategywise i'd tell my wife, you're dead to me until the final two of us, the ones that probably said this to their loved ones are gonna be on top, not like the meathead nfl guy lol. but he was smart enough to quickly figure out 5guys v 4 girls.
Rupert wasn't voted off his tribe, Candice was. She was voted out because she's 100% untrustworthy. The "Oh I don't know you at all so I wrote your name down" lines were pure bullshit. They all know her, and they all know she's ruthless + makes terrible decisions at the worst times (for her and anyone aligned with her).
I'd guess that Rupert's wife was voted out for a couple of reasons. 1 is that she was the oldest woman on the tribe, and therefore a liability. The other being, as Noodleface said, to weaken Rupert who has made it deep into the jury in all 3 of his seasons.
Now, as far as challenges go, I highly doubt that any of the challenges at RI will be a brute strength challenge (they never have been at RI), and that's all I can picture Rupert winning in vs Candice. She is good in most challenges (balance, relative body strength, puzzles), so Rupert is in big trouble. I'd love it if they could both go home, but whatever.
Edit: Oh, you asked about Colton, too. I think they voted Candice out before Colton because she is much more of a threat than Colton is. Colton's self-destruct timer began the moment he was born, so it's only a matter of time for him. Candice is a much larger threat in every aspect (socially, physically, strategically), and she can't help but to play all angles of the social game. I hate her, but she is good at preserving herself deep into the game (although she'd never be able to win it). Colton is just a piece of shit that you can either use as a pawn or a scapegoat at any time.

Some villains are nice to keep around because they can't win, but then there are some like Little Hantz where no matter how much you would like to be sitting next to them in the final TC, it's not worth having their erratic and annoying craziness around camp for 39 days. I definitely think Colton falls into this category.
Colton's gay lover seems like a solid guy. Makes you wonder why he is submitting himself to the torture of even involving Colton in his life? Hopefully he wins the $1m, leave's Colton and taunts him with it.
Is Katie the curvy blonde who failed at the puzzle?
Also, wtf with the gloating from Jervaise (sp?)? The guy damn near drowns out in the swimming challenge and then is the most boisterous over-the-top gloating player on the tribe. I think it sucks Marissa was sent packing the way she did, but I can't wait to see the reaction from her Uncle.

It's good to see Colton is still as annoying as ever.
Also, what the fuck was with Tyson and Aras gaying it up at the campfire?
Yeah, noticed that too. They looked like newlyweds with Tyson sitting right behind him, arms draped around his neck. Guess they bonded!
Glad Rupert's gone and apparently so is his wife.
Loved Brad's demonstrative violent fantasy display of what he'd like to do to Gervais. "I can't wait until we have a physical challenge and I can body slam him into the water!" *his tribe peers at him, startled as fuck* Dude's lack of an inner monologue is awesome.
Was hoping the returners would lose the challenge so we could see that brand new 5-person alliance swing into action and maybe vote colton or Kat (Damn, she is unlikable) to RI. Hope that alliance stays strong.
After watching a season of Naked & Afraid, Survivor seems more like Big Brother: Outside.
I knew Rupert was done for when he dropped the first thing he had to stack.
Jeff "Ok, this is a challenge that takes patience and.."
Rupert running full speed with reckless-abandonment with his first piece
Best part was Colton trying to stir shit and no one giving a fuck.
an understated ensemble that puts the "b" in subtle
It seems like everyone on the tribe watched Colton's season and know how much of a bitch he is.
if you're returning as a survivor and from the looks of it most of these ppl are doing it three times, wtf! i mean seriously pick new ppl, that rupert guy, it was his 4th time, holy crap, i didn't get a chance to watch him, but was he even entertaining the first 3x he was on?
cantatus has a point i believe, wasn't that why they axed richard hatch off early on his return season? i mean every survivor always remembers the winner, and the first survivor gay mean naked guy is hard to forget. tyson candice and tina are all 3x'ers by now were they that interesting?
i mean some ppl here are just plain dumb... i know if i got a spot on jeopardy, i'm spending a week in the library, or if i got ninja warrior i'd goto like parkour camp for a week.
wtf? how hard is it to find a local survivor guy and say... "look i got casted for survivor, your gonna take me up in the woods, and teach me how to live for free, and i'll name drop you once a week, or if i win i'll always say your name"
wikihow shows 7 ways on how to make a fire, i'd learn them all! (aside from the flint/steel boyscout stuff i learned)
About Rupert: He was entertaining (I found him annoying, though) in his first season. He was also the most physically dominant player of his season by far, both in challenges and at camp. So much so that he was easily the face of Survivor for at least a couple of years. CBS even had him doing all kinds of "Coming up Next" commercials for their shows. He has also gone far in every season (well into the jury) until this one.
Hatch was targetted in All-Stars like every other previous winner had been. There was a collective idea that "winners must go first" among everyone in that game, so he was screwed from the start.
Tyson was definitely entertaining in his first season, he would have stolen the entire season if it wasn't for Good Ole Country Boy JT. In HvV he got Rustled (get it?!) and ended up voting himself out in one of the craziest tribal councils ever. Top 5 all-time Tribal, and probably the dumbest move of all time in hindsight. Still incredibly entertaining.
Candice was terribly boring and vapid in her first season, and was only thrown into Heroes vs Villains due to a severe lack of "strong" female players that they could bring back. This time, she got in again by default, because Tits McGee's (RC's) father had a heart condition and they had to be pulled. Candice had no business returning a 2nd time, let alone a 3rd.
Tina was brought back in All-Stars because she won season 2. She never was bad, but never really a stand-out, either. She only won because Colby is a fucking retard and took her with him to the end. I'd say her appearance here is just to throw in a true oldschool player into the mix along with Gervase. Also, her 2nd appearance was super brief, she got the same treatment that Richard Hatch got.

so i talked to my survivor friend and he said (since i wanted to get some good survivor under my belt) to check out season 19, um he loved it so much he gifted me the season on amazon, lol (it was only 10 bucks) 1 marathon later, and i find out why he thinks it's the best season.
i asked him specifically for a good season with one of these returning players, he said you should just start with season19 and work your way down in disapointment.
he told me about tina, and colby and i was like that name sounds familiar, and i'm like, oh it's the top shot guy.
but man i didn't know survivor was so short, only 16 episodes for season 19, i'm used to big brother like 40 episodes, ha.
i don't seem to like any returning playings, i'm voting for new blood.
i got a question, that blond won the redemption island challenge, i thought she would go back? so like when does that actually happen?
Katie's titties nummies omnomnomnom
just finished season 13, so why is candice considered a hero for heroes vs. villians? i mean at most she is a nothing, at best she should be a villian b/c she betrayed her long time tribe to go back to the white ppl. I mean that's how i look at it, she was in a tribe with all mixed races and she couldn't wait to get back with the white ppl. It was only fitting and strategy that the 4-man tribe kept dominating and sending her into exile to punish her, is that why she's a hero, cuz she was blah? or perceived as being picked on? i can tell now, why ppl say candice is a waste on this show cuz she does nothing, she's just a pretty blond girl, i guess she's a doctor by now, but she doesn't show any sign of intelligence really.
watching s20 now... and candice is still blah, rupert is pretty blah also, but it's too much survivor now, and i don't even see tyson, i don't know if i can deal with season20 this weekend! (btw it was just cheaper to join amazon prime lol 80bucks get's you everything for a year)

Candice was thrown onto the Heroes tribe because of a lack of strong women who had played Survivor. The same can be said of Danielle from the Villains side...no one remembered who the fuck she was, but they needed to balance out the tribes. Any woman who makes any impact on her season/gets some airtime will likely be asked to come back.
Edit: Just realized that I answered this question for you yesterday. Do you read replies or what?!
Last edited by Adam12; 09-28-2013 at 05:56 PM.
i thought there was more to it than just the need for production, maybe she was a fan favorite or something, instead of she was available and pretty. I didn't see her as strong, aside from that one challenge when they had to wrestle her across the ground, that's it really.
i mean you could often tell right away a fan favorite, i breezed through s14 and the easy favorite was yao-man. but watching her on s13, she was forgettable and overshadowed by everyone aside from making the betrayal move, you know 19seasons and she's considered a hero? but i guess like you said, needed for production and she's a female.
i think they have a limited pool of veterans that they can bring back.
basically they can only bring back veterans that have some degree of providing good television, so they'd have to make it pass the first few episodes and they have to basically have no jobs. I mean survivor is 39 days and i'm sure it's longer, unless you're self employed, or just become a reality tv junkie trying to appear on as many reality tv as possible to get monies.
Have they ever done a survival reality show that featured survival experts? I think a show that gave experts a platform to make a paradise out of nothing would be really cool.
I thought that's what Naked and Afraid was supposed to be. But it seems that half the contestants on N&A are marine or army guys that mistake military for survival.
N&A is still one of the most entertaining survival shows I've ever seen.
I will admit, I think his survivor fame got to his head a bit on subsequent castings. The guy still does everything for his charity, which is great. No matter what, I'd rather have a Ruper over the million other "ride coat tails and do nothing" contestants.

This is the first season of Survivor that I have ever watched. My wife used to watch it, and I would half pay attention while I was reading or raiding in some game, so I sorta know some of these people. I am just going to echo pretty much everyone else and say fuck Colton. Every time he gets on camera with his over the top gay lisp and bitchy attitude, I want to turn the TV off. He is so fucking obnoxious, and I can't wait until he is gone.
i just finished fast forwarding through season 22 redemption, that one was dumb season, after they got rid of russell, it was like the boston rob show, why would anyone want to watch one guy dominate 15 ppl? it was really sad to watch these losers bend to robs will, well at least the crazy black guy had a strategy.
so watching this redemption island worked like this, the guy got sent out,and he faced 6 cast outs in a row, then the merge happened, then he got sent out again, cuz he was stupid. then they waited till it was 3 on redemption island and they went to duels.
i'm guessing they're doing the reverse now since they waited on 3 this time.
anyone see the previews for this next episode? colton is gonna act all drama queen and stuff and cry. Seriously if you're a previous contestant why would you ever believe it when a person cries? I'm sure he'll get some sympathy from ppl, cuz a lot of them seem dumb.
