Computer e-peen thread, post your fancy PC and desk setup. Mine isn't bleeding edge, built it about a year and a half ago.... and it also needs a good dusting.
Asus 120hz monitor
SS 6gv2 Mechanical Keyboard
SS Siberia headset
SS Kinzu v2 Pro mouse, I also use my Logitech G400
Puretrak Talent mouse pad
Corsair 600T case
Core i7 950
looks awesome but just seems like way too much monitor, would a game spread across all 3 of those?(sorry dont crucify me i use 1 monitor)
3x27" at 1920x1080 each. 2x Dell IPS and one shitty HP monitor that I had to use because I couldn't sync up my other 27"
1x27 at 2560x1400
I want to mount the loan monitor above my triple set up, but I don't have the mounts for it right now and don't feel like spending the money.

Did you post your setup at hardforum Draegan? Could have sworn I seen it before with the same Ikea desk / triple monitor with samsung TV on the wall.
id be so bugged out playing anything on that fucking screeen holy shit lol
Triple monitors would be nice for MMO's. I think I'm just too much of an fps whore, getting a true 120 frames per second really does make a difference in twitch games. Even in regular games like Skyrim or Dota 2 it is definitely noticeable. And I still haven't tried the G19 keyboard, do you guys really use the macros often?
3 screens in fps is huge as it opens your fov to 180 vs 60 I think that out weighs 120FPS very immersive not as smooth but frist game I played on eyefinity was dead space 2. I had the wet farts from beginning to end.
I've had both, I like trip monitors, but I don't have the cash for the extended resolution monitors like that. I'm not an FPS guy either so I can't comment.
Picture is a few months old, but that is my basic setup. The 2 monitors are both 28" 1900x1200 monitors, bought them a couple years ago before those Korean monitors were really available(or at least before I knew about them). Right now I'm trying to decide whether to add a 3rd of the same I already have, or scrap it all and start over with the awesome Korean monitors(of which I'd probably only be able to buy 2 right off the bat).
The only significant peripheral/accessory I've added to the mix since that picture was taken was a Herman Miller Aeron chair(and I love that sonofabitch...so comfy)
And yeah, the monitor backgrounds arent very exciting, but my only requirement is that the damn things stay dark most of the time, so I tend to go with blacks and blues. Nothing worse than sitting in a dark room with 2 blindingly bright monitors right in your face if you background has a lot of white or bright colors in it.

Definitely will if I go to 3 monitors
Sitting that close to a 1080P TV screen that large would look like ass
What's the deal with that monitor on the right? It looks totally strange to me.
And yeah, I agree the screen size is way too big. I couldn't imagine having anything larger than ~30" and even that seems a bit large to me.
Ah, that moment where you realize you aren't a gamer anymore and your rig(s) aren't worth showing off to anyone...
Still though, if thats actually a TV and not a nice monitor, 1080p TVs that large, and that close, are going to have a real shitty DPI and look pretty pixelated.
OK, that's messier than mine, even...
Alienware M17x R2 (center) and M11x R3 (left). The M17x is i7 920XM @ 2.4GHz, 16GB DDR3, 5870 x2 CF.
The M11x isn't much of a gaming laptop -- i7 2617M @ 1.5GHz, 16GB DDR3, nVidia 540M + Intel 3000, but it'll do in a pinch if I'm travelling. I don't like to bring the M17x anywhere given its size/weight. It's a fairly capable gaming machine if you remember that its display is 1366x768.
Oh, and ignore the BlackBerry. It's from work. I would never have spent good money on that piece of shit.
Not visible below the desk, my file/virtualization server. i7 3930K @ 3,2GHz, 64GB DDR3, Quadro 2000 GPU (no gaming on this, but decent for GPGPU -- it's a server, not a gaming box). eSATA cage on top for backups plus a USB3 drive for my torrent seedbox VM (that I don't use anymore now that I moved to whatbox).
Well it came yesterday switch out the previous eyefinity system to one 30" monitor.. I like it better maybe it just the 2560 x 1600 res, I don't really miss the side screens as much as thought I would but do miss them a little.
and an other note some of you people got piss poor wiring jobs just pick a monster wire cable it kit or some cheap sleeves bundles those wires.
Yep, the wiring in my server sucks. I'll get to it when I get to it. Heat isn't an issue and the wiring isn't visible with the case closed, so it's not all that important to me.
That, and I just swapped out the motherboard a week ago, so I was in a hurry to get it back up and running. Got 10-15 VMs running on that thing at any one time, so when it's down, it's very annoying.
I find it funny that you took a shitty cellphone pic with your nice camera on the desk.
In case anyone wonders the difference between the 2 below is some screens to 2560 x 1600 bottom is eyefinity 3 x 1920 x 1080p

New rig. Oh, this is gonna be fun. Also, better cable management on this one!
CPU cooler up closer. God, when did these things get so mammoth? Good thing I didn't put much RAM in there.
Definitely wishing I'd bought a bigger case at this point, though. Cooling's fine for the moment, it's just really tight.

For on air cooling esp with tri fire haven't found a better case then the haf x. Had comos prior wasn't cutting it. I love the haf x. I grew wary of those monster air coolers and not really in the mood to do an open loop water system. So I stuck a antec 920 in it is an expensive soultion but didn't what a monster cooler.
Nice rig excellent wire managment esp in a small case very clean.
You guys make me feel inadequate. My definition of cable management is "the cables are connected, and fit within the case."
^^^^ Need to replace with flatscreens so you have room for hotpockets and redbull.
