Wow zeste fix the css on the poll.
Wow zeste fix the css on the poll.
I don't really care either way. I joined in April of 03 and have all of 380 posts or some such shit. I voted no because it is more likely to me that people will participate more freely if everyone is a newb I think. The old timers aren't really going to give a shit if they have to rework their post counts back up. Be good for the site if they got into a dick waving contest about first to 1000.
Keep it fresh. No c/o.
I want my 13k back. It's probably the highest post count I'll ever achieve =)
The site is called rerolled! I think it would be an injustice to our new homes name if we import posts and join dates.
Good to see you back Mr. DePace ... Errr I mean tad
The guys that listen to Howard Stern get it. Scott DePace works for HowardTV, he is the producer I think. Anyway, he is hardcore right wing and he argues just like you do. When I read our posts, I hear his voice.
EDIT: so while I probably disagree with 90% of the shit you say (both games & politics) it is nice to have you back. Debate is good for a forum, but that oppressed bullshit rant you went on in MoreNetz was uncalled for.

I have no clue how his re system work, I don't Draegan does either. He mentioned something in irc about trying to figure it out.
I was keen on carrying over the join date/post count on Morenetz, but I think a level playing field is good going forward.
A new dawn, a fresh start, etc etc.
I'd be fine with whatever the majority wants, but personally, no. I think a fresh start is due.
I would like the old banner at the top of the page though, maybe an updated version.
Yes, but when you reroll, you still try to hook up your rerolled account with gold and other crap. The only people who reroll with nothing are guys like Behemoth who did it back when Verant only let you server xfer naked, so he left Cazic Thule for FOH and had to sacrifice all his russet potato fear armor ;O Well, that wasn't a total reroll, but considering that EQ was a gear=your character's power, it essentially was a reroll.
I voted no but if people think it means something and want it, I don't care.
Voted no, I think we should all begin this journey shiny and new. We should embrace change and welcome our new post count overlords.
The people with stupid high posts counts will already be known enough, we don't need to hide behind them. Also, those same people will likely blast ahead of everyone in posts.
It sucks giving up thousands of posts, but it's good to start from fresh here.
Kaige#1128 - Battle.net
Kaige - Steam
I voted no, I am ok with losing my 500+ posts over ten years of being a member.
Post counts and Join Date are No Drop.
Draegan sold us out to MMORPG.com
Exodus underway to ReReRolled.org - A Gaming Community
I could go either way. Rather see Join dates than Post Count though.
edit: Though fuck, suppose people could put that as their custom titles too.
I voted no, but I'm fine with it if people have the opportunity to do so. I'll never reach that 1400ish count anywhere else like I have FoH, but I'm fine with letting it go to a fresh start, and I think that everyone being on an even level encourages the lurkers to be able to start posting.
How about this idea... Some sort of titles / badges based on FoH activity?

I voted yes because it took me 10 yrs to get 980 posts. Soooo close to 1k!!
I don't care either way. I did vote yes because I know how a lot of people care about nets & post counts. I can see maybe transferring the nets over, but post count I would say no... When I search people's posts I don't want to be mislead with how many actual posts they have on this forum.
nets make no sense at all, they were abused because of the anonymity. I have no idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if 80% of all internets given were negs on foh
I voted yes, but in retrospect I'm glad it's going the other direction. So if I could I'd reverse my vote. Fresh start and all that.

I voted yes, but only in consideration of those that spent 10 years building up thousands and thousands of posts (if that's important to them). I myself only ever hit something like 1500, so I don't care one way or the other.
I think having a poll on this isnt even going to be fair, most the people on this site didnt really post on FoH so why would they say yes? I dont really care for join date but for some bazaar reason I care about the amount of posts Ive done in this community. Should have made it to where you can see the poll results
makes no sense to say "NO, FRESH START" even though were using the same layout and its same community for the past decade but with a couple different moderators and people are already wanting the old banner

maybe years only as a compromise. I voted no, but having 2002 back would be cool. fine either way!
Those of you voting no, would you vote yes if it was just join dates?
Inverted question for those voting yes.
Meh, I feel like you should either do it for everyone or for no one, and since it'd be near impossible to do everyone...
They did it on more nets but im not sure how much of a pain it was but there might have been a lot more mods helping out over there
I'd vote yes to Join Date

Let the dead stay buried. Voted no.
Kind of mixed on the join / post count thing. On one hand, importing them creates some continuity from FoH if these boards are meant as a true replacement/successor. On the other hand, since FoH probably isn't going anywhere soon, a separate board deserves a separate history.
I still say no as well (my join date was Apr of 03). Getting people feeling like this is their home is important acknowledging where we come from is important but so is looking ahead and rebuilding accordingly.
I don't honestly care that much on a personal level. I don't remember my foh join date or how many posts I had. A fresh start is a fresh start is all.
Once uber uberest decides to join us he will show you young uns how post farming is DONE.
Yeah, fuck it. FOH is over. Post counts & join dates mean shit. I think it's cool enough that a whole community bailed and moved (TWICE!). Besides viewing the post counts for all these 1000 users will just give Tyen more "unique view LULZ" or whatever gay shit. haha
If someone gives a shit about their post count/join date I see nothing wrong with them making their posts/join date in the avatar and/or sig with their posts. Just screenshot and crop their count from foh.
Or they can just put it in their Avatar comment (where you have Administrator).
Look, if this site goes anywhere a Dec 2012 join date will mean as much as a 2002 date on fohguild back in the day. If it goes nowhere then who gives a fuck and everyone will retreat to fohguild to wait for Hoofshots 12....20,, etc.
I'd like to bring some more of our history with us. People that were on noows lost those join dates. I'd like to see us all keep the old join dates if possible. I don't care about post count.
Fresh meat for the tabl......errr fresh start all the way. Fucking '13ers!
I'd vote yeah but what about the people who made subtle changes in their username? Post counts I don't think matters.
Like any poll, "How much do you care?" doesn't seem to factor. Despite voting yes, I'm not sure anyone really cares too much. Myself included.
I also vote no on the join date thing. But then I'm a fucking 04'er.
And post counts just make me sad. I averaged almost 1000 posts a year. That's what, like 3 a day for 8 years? Depressing...
Edit: Although, then again, I had like 75 posts last night alone here. So I'm on pace for about 27,000 posts a year.
dont give a shit really, posts dont mean much those of you who have been around forever we know who you are respectfully.
Ive been on the FOH Forums for over ten years and I voted no. Is it really that big a deal when the fuck you joined and how many posts you made in the Screenshots section over the last decade?
I'm not doing it. That's way too much work.
I vote yes, because as an MMO player arbitrary numeric values associated to a profile are serious business.
This isn't FoH. Lets start again.
LMAO. I come back on and I get the title of the Gay One. I'll have to keep it, haha.
Anyone who was on FoH already knows who was posting there and that is all that matters I think.
I am a former lurker and it's good to finally post, while it was cool to get a rep point but it's nothing to get crazy about. Rep hunting is retarded; being genuine is enjoyable.
I voted no, but now I want it to happen to make Draegan do it because I'm an edgy rebel.
Come correct motherfucker.
The forums are gone guys. Req took em down. No way to verify post count, start date, etc.
Holy shit hahaha

A terrible 5th post Blaunk.
It was his first post, even, and what a wonderful necro at that. gg.
Blaunk ain't got nothin on my nigga Phillip!
He's going to have to fuck up way worse than that before we'd consider him for a moderator!
I'm for it... not that I ever posted at FoH, but lurked for a while.
hmmm do i want my 1 post from there to carry over...
You've already blown your old post-count out of the water!
