Anything that we should keep an eye out for?

Same thing I posted in the other thread, I'm going to check out:
Ai Mai Mi
Cuticle Tantei Inaba
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
D.C. III ~Da Capo III~
Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru
AKB0048 Next Stage
Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun
Love Live! School Idol Project
THE UNLIMITED – Hyoubu Kyousuke
Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman
GJ-bu (Good Job Club)
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT
Mondai-Ji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?
I'm especially looking forward to Maoyuu Maou Yuusha and [email protected] of the new series. There's some great sequels coming up too like Chihayafuru 2 and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT.
k-on season 3 looks very good.
Days? I did that just last night from scratch. I refused to stop until it was done. I did miss a lot though, yeah. Some stuff I can't remember if I've watched or not like Jin-Roh and Himitsu: Top Secret. I think I may have, not sure.

i probably need to edit mine. i have 5-7 so far. lol....fuck....what a waste of time though..jesus.
LOL, no kidding it's a waste of time. I'm probably missing 85% of the ones I've watched, but here's mine anyway. There's no way I'm going to remember them all...
Just watched Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. Pretty good 6 episode short series.
So pissed that it will be 10 months between Gundam Unicorn 5 and 6. I look for it in every preview list and get disappointed every time.
Rori has the first 2 of the last 4 episodes of Kokoro Connect subbed now, hopefully the last two will come soon.
Last two are up too. I saw the first two already and they're pretty good. Glad they have the second two out already, was going to get antsy if they were going to take a while to release them.
Just finished watching the other two. Great show, great ending.
So I guess those 17 eps covered up to volume 4 of the Light Novels of Kokoro Connect? Looking at the Wiki it's up to 9 and ongoing.
Good ending to that 4-parter of Kokoro Connect, Inaba is so adorable.
Nekomonagatari released on Dec 31st. Commie subs is apparently releasing it as four 30-min pieces. First one is already out so far.
Mostly looking forward to Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT
and finaly made a list http://myanimelist.net/animelist/LoveDenied prolly still missing 1/3 of what iwe watched in retrospect it would have been cleaver not to delete/missplace the word document i had on my PC listing them all
actually, i don't fucking know. whatever is out there in the market.
First stuff has started airing.
Mangirl! - 5 minutes of blah.
Ai Mai Mi - Another 5 minutes of blah.
Boku no Imouto wa Osaka Okan - One episode of this 5 minute show was all I ever needed to see of it.
Yama no Susume - A sorta decent 5 minutes, but I don't really like 5 minute shows so I probably won't keep watching it.
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - Absolutely fantastic first episode. Pretty hilarious too. This was the show I was by far the most excited for from the previews due to the comparisons to Spice & Wolf. I cannot wait for more of this. Plus, Fukuyama Jun *always* delivers.
Cuticle Detective Inaba - Hilarious, totally fucking random. Funny enough for me to keep watching for the ridiculousness and randomness.
OreShura - Okay, that was actually a pretty awesome take on a romcom. This should be pretty good.
Woo a Fafner sequel comes out this summer. Not too surprising about the sequel given how the recent movie ended though.
Lot's more stuff has aired now:
Zettai Karen Children THE UNLIMITED - Hyoubu Kyousuke - Long title is really fucking long. I urge people to check this out, it was a very badass opening episode and I enjoyed it a ton. Easily my #2 favorite so far.
Senran Kagura - Super fanservice. Female Ninjas being badass, surprisingly good animation. No flatties.
D.C.III ~Da Capo III~ - More Da Capo. Also, dem tits.
Minami-ke Tadaima - More Minami-ke.
Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman - This was pretty cool, I love the Lupin III style art and zaniness.
Hakkenden Touhou Hakken Ibun - Pretty cool show. If you like Japanese Fantasy, demons and spirits and stuff, definitely check it out.
Checked out two more shows:
Amnesia - I wasn't really expecting much from this, but it turned out pretty decent. The character designs are pretty striking. The premise of the main character getting amnesia and not actually telling anyone she has it is pretty interesting too.
Love Live! - Waaaaaaaaaay better than expected. Idol shows are a definite guilty pleasure of mine and this looks like it could easily be much better than Idolmaster and AKB0048.
Happy Hellsing Ultimate is finally over. Was painful waiting months and years for each episode to come out. Although I was not a fan of how Alucard's fight ended, it didn't detract from how awesome the series was.
Finally saw most of the shows so I feel I can be opinionated.
First off, glad that Robotics;Notes, Ixion Saga DT, Little Busters, Shinsekai Yori, and Sakurasou no Pet are still going. It helps fill in some holes in the schedule.
Amnesia - interesting, but we'll see. I think it needs to build some more before it can be judged.
Ore no Kanojo - decent so far
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - first episode was pretty funny, glad to see in the 2nd one the Hero warmed up more.
Da Capo 3 - unless the main guy develops a personality, this might be a downer. The girls seem pretty awesome, but if the guy acts like a rock, then it will suck.
Senran Kagura - typical corny ecchi material.
Tamako Market - pretty good, the bird is freakin' hilarious.
[email protected] - I'm not entirely sure wtf is going on with this show, but the first episode was bizarre, yet pretty funny.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next - more of the same good stuff, looking forward to more episodes. I'll bet a more serious plot develops around the girls pretending to be one another.
Mondaijitachi ga Isekai - pretty interesting so far, looking forward to more episodes. Kind of unique.
Kotoura-san - first episode was great, and if it stays the course...could be one of my favorites of the season.
Vividred Operation - I should have been prepared for this sort of thing after the note that someone from Strike Witches was involved in the design. Damn it, Japan.
Also, Demon King is awesome, SHAFT is awesome, so many sequels of stuff I didn't watch, etc etc etc.
A sentence is worth a thousand words.
I saw that the Strike Witches people were involved and just skipped the series. I doubt I'll be missing out on much.
Okay, I think I've watched every new show now.
Kotoura-san - This is really good. Starts pretty dark and then just gets awesome.
[email protected] - Weird as fuck.
Tamako Market - Lol Bird. Pretty funny.
GJ-bu - Pretty cute small club show.
Vividred Operation - Hotpants! Not that bad, obvious Strike Witches influences aside.
Mondaijitachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sou Desu yo - This surprised me. Pretty cool show about people with powers and various games and tournaments it looks like.
So, these four shows stood out to me this season as the best of the bunch from their first episodes:
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
ZKC: The Unlimited
And these two shows will probably be great "guilty pleasure" shows for me:
Mondaijitachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sou Desu yo
Also nothing really stuck out as bad from any of the new shows this season (aside from the 5 minute ones) so I'll probably keep watching everything I checked out.

Space Bros ep 40 - now this is what this entire series should have been about to begin with.
Man, Kotoura-san is really good. It's kinda light, but grim at the same time.
Indeed! It's a nice surprise.
Probably the best season in a long time. Mondaijitachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sou Desu yo is my favorite so far. Close call on 2nd place, but I'm guessing Maoyu wins that spot, reminds me a lot of Spice and Wolf for some reason. Though I'm sure after they introduce the new characters, it won't be as similar.
Random thoughts on new stuff :
Modaiji-Tachi - this one is kinda fun so far, having characters that kick butt, know they kick butt, and have the attitude to go with it, is refreshing.
Maoyuu Mao - interesting storyline, not edge of your seat stuff, but I look forward to more of them.
Sasami-san - This one gave me whiplash a bit, ep1 was 'what the fuck was that ?', ep2 made perfect sense and was pretty funny too. I got a laugh out of the brother's character being of class 'loser' and then getting killed by a thrown blackboard duster.
Vividred - it's possible that this show could be more generic, but I am not sure how. On the upside it has nice art and animation, on the downside it spends way too much time focusing the camera on the crotch of 12 year old girls. Probably pass.
Kotoura San - this one was unexpectedly good
Zettai Karen children - semi-serious, decent action, only downside is I find the 'turn the badge sideways for super powers' thing inherently ridiculous
Hakkenden Touhou - seems ok so far, will give it a few more
Senran Kagura - too goofy to watch, didn't finish first episode
Amnesia - if the 'male' characters in this were any more feminine, they'd need tampons - which they'd totally have, just in case their female friends needed them
Cuticle Detective - Didn't finish the first ep, hate the animation style.
For ongoing :
Space Brothers - what the hell happened there ? The last two episodes had more plot than the previous 40 combined.
Zetsuen no Tempest - continues to deliver
Psycho-pass - unchanged, still interesting, great thought provoking backstory but not really going anywhere
Robotics Notes - yay ! something happened - lets see if next episode continues or it's back to nothing happening
Shinsekai Yori - still interesting, but the storyline has gotten a bit loose, wish it was more focused, but still watching
I never watched the first Zettai Karen children but the 2nd one is pretty awesome. Is it worth downloading the 1st one because people have said its pretty campy.
Latest ep of Robotis;Notes - Team Kona, fuck yeah.
Sasami-san ep 3 cranked up the awesome and did some explaining to boot.
Looks like Yori episode 17 is finally showing us a full picture of what they were building up to so far. All those vague hints about the red headed chick and the queerats... Looks like shit's finally hit the fan (for the entire community and not just the friends circle).
ZKC: The Unlimited - was nice to see the girls back and older.
Good reviews for alot of the new shows that are out there.
Zetsuan no Tempest is still kicking ass. Girls and panzer is on hiatus, but got good laughs out of that show watching 13 year old girls power slide tanks around, and Shin Sekai Yori does seem to be pulling itself together now.
ZKC Unlimited is pretty cool. Anyone know where I can get the original series from?
I know this is older, but Im curious about A certain Magical Index and wondering if Railgun continues the story from where it left off at the end of Season 2. It kinda just leaves it hanging in mid-air about what was gonna happen and such.
I think you have to register to use the site. They're a pretty good archive for older stuff and the only place you can still find some things.
As for Railgun - it pretty much runs its own storyline in the Index world.
That kinda sucks about Index. Was a pretty good anime. Ill have to read the manga somewhere to finish it all out. Thanks for the Baka link. Pretty much what Im looking for.
Don't worry, Index S3 will get announced after the next Railgun season.
An Index movie just came out in theaters but I have no idea if it's filler or not. Then Railgun S2 starts in the spring and it covers the sisters arc unsurprisingly.
Most of the shows have been surprisingly good this season. I was expecting them to be kinda "meh", but ones like Kotoura-san are really addictive.
Except Amnesia. I figured I'd give it a shot since the plot might actually have some substance to it and hoped maybe there was some type of mind-fuckery. I can't. Its bad...really terrible.
Only thing that kind of bugged me about ZKC: The Unlimited was how the main character's power was clearly ripped from Index. Although I was happy to see this week that his power wasn't quite the same as Toma's.
Then speaking of Index, here's a trailer to the movie that comes out in February. It looks to be an original story but it's still good to see that the movie was produced concurrently with S2 of Railgun so maybe a S3 isn't so far off after all.

Hmm...Tempest is easily my favorite anime right now... Nothing keeps me in more suspense then this show does.
Captain Harlock CG movie coming next fall
hopefully it won't be too horrible (since Captain Harlock deserves a good movie)
Oh man that looks so damn sexy!
So there's a remake of Space Battleship Yamato 2199 that's apparently airing in theaters and being released on blu-ray. 10 eps of it are out so far. I just started watching it and it is absolutely gorgeous. I never saw the original series, but this is great so far.
Yep, Yamato was a great find.
Zetsuen no Tempst: God, they finally fucking said it.
Shinsekai Yori is heating up again after being in snoresville for a little while there. Some serious stuff going down.
Im guessing with everything he has been able to do in Zetsuan No Tempest, he is able to figure and break down the logic of everything going on. He just might be the Mage of Exodus and not even know it.
Reasons he is mage of exodus : he outsmarted me ! obviously impossible without supernatural help
Reasons he isn't mage of exodus : no magic, tried to stop us waking the tree of exodus, saved the mage of genesis, this other guy actually has the exodus magic, is only involved in the situation at all because Mahiro asked him
Have to say that was a pretty nice twist in Psycho Pass. Figured the Sybil system was a farce but definitely not in the way that it turned out to be.
After watching that Captain Harlock preview I can honestly say that company needs to make a 40k movie. In that trailer I see Necrons (green eyed robot), Eldar (elf chick), a rogue Inquisitor (The Captain), and the Tau (Advanced spaceships and white troops).
All your missing are the marines.
I highly recommend everyone grab the newest MadVR if you're using it. They added a new Smooth Motion renderer option, it makes an immediately noticeable difference in reducing judder. It's a pretty big deal, especially if you're not setting your display to 24/48/96hz to match video framerate.
Never heard of it till now, thx for the recommendation. Been using MPC, and been getting annoyed at how it skips frames when I watch tv shows after pausing repeatedly to browse web.
Anime related, "Coming from another world, aren't they" is freaking awesome. Love these new series where the protagonist is already bad-ass and can just look down on everyone he sees.
And here's some more in depth/advanced guides:
You don't really need to change much though. The main stuff you want to look out for is enabling the new "Smooth Motion" option under "Rendering" in MadVR and the scaling algorithms for tweaking performance.
Long time lurker at the old website, want to say thanks for the past few years on anime advice!
I used CCP with MPC for years and switched to http://www.jriver.com/ about 2 years ago.
Its not free it costs $50.00, but imo it has the best video, and audio quality of any player. They work with the developer of MadVR (Madshii) and Lav filters (Nevcariel) and have built an auto codec feature called Red October (not a fan of the name). This feature works fantastically, there is no longer an headache of juggling codecs. They update every week and keep adding new and advanced features.
Here is a link from AVS talking about the program. http://www.avsforum.com/t/1352282/jr...-owners-thread
The jriver website has a wiki page for instruction but it is hard to find information. The forum is always active and any questions will be answered rather quickly. If anyone wants to try the free trial I can walk them through the setup. I don't want to sound like an advertisement but I literally boot up my pc and the first program I run is jriver, I use it for my computers audio path, anime, movies, games (they have a loop back feature).
Yeah, I can't imagine paying 50 dollars when MadVR is available for free and has the highest video quality out of any Renderer and Lav, which is also free, has the best speed of any Decoder. No one juggles codecs anymore, those two work together perfectly for everything when plugged into a player like MPC-HC.
$50.00 is a hard sell when many of the components are free, I completely agree. The one thing Jriver has that stands above everyone else is its audio quality. They have won a number of awards and are highly praised by a number of people in the industry. As an audio guy that alone sold me to the program, having great and easy video was icing on the cake.
AAC/MP3 etc coded audio could be enhanced by something I guess, but I also just pass those through as bit-exact audio with reclock via wasapi and my receiver handles enhancing them a bit.

Gotta say, Misaki's random outbursts in Sakurasou ep19 were the funniest thing I've seen in anime this season so far.
Blast of Tempest went in the most predictable direction but still has a great buildup. Hopefully they can bring a real game changer for the finale.
Great Maoyu episode this week, it went by too fast.
Gah, the Fairy Tail anime ends on the 30th. Guess that's better than shitting it up with filler.
anyone watching senyuu? best 3 minutes of the week
That aside, did Ixion Saga get good? shit was so fuckin blah after the first 3 episodes idk what to say.
